Yeah perhaps, even with a better ball I’m not sure Weimann had the pace to make it count. Something we seem to be lacking all over the pitch

Pickering really is poor.

A slick surface really tests the fundamentals of a footballer in first touch, anticipation and passing. Most of our players are lacking in all those departments.

Carter is up against a properly quick Winger. At the end of the day he's a CB doing a job out there.

Errors creeping back into Pears game

I wish it was the done thing to substitute a keeper, but it really isn't. Pears has been good lately but he has mistakes in him tonight. One more could cost us any chance of getting back into this.

Really horrendous performance... Lets see if Eustace can turn it around. Its very open and lots of room, just the passing has been horrendous. Total absence of quality.

I wouldn't start Weimann very often. I think he's a useful sub but he's not physically up to it from the start anymore. Later, against tired legs, his quality can count. Regular starts are just wearing his edge off I think.

Id bring JRC on at right back, Gueye up front, and Buckley into midfield to get his foot on the ball.

Pears’ distribution is actually horrendous isn’t it. Wasn’t there a time when JDT kept him in over Kaminski for allegedly being ‘better with his feet’. Comical stuff
