January Transfer window

We were saying the same about JDT and he brought something different and a change of mentality after the previous few years but that turned to shit.  Eustace clearly has the best grip on this league and how to rinse what you have to best effect but ultimately even that will crumble if his squad isn't given proper help in the mid season window.

And we've seen several times over what happens once a gaffer gets fed up here.

I agree.

If they do the usual bollocks in January, it will create an even bigger stink.

I think he is the best manager we have had, since the takeover from Hell...

Still early days and needs a full season under his belt before we make such statements probably. Doing an exceptional job so far though.

If he isn't backed in January and he fucks off then surely that's the final straw.  All our efforts needs to turn to getting these charlatans out

There have been many final straws.

It will be a shrug of the shoulders and a statement to say, we can’t change the past, but the owners are great people and fully committed.

Some supporters no doubt will stop listening to it, but some will get behind the lads regardless.
Rinse  and repeat.

On Eustace leaving... Let's not forget how he was treated at Brum. He talks very positively about his position here and everyone is on his side. He's a seemingly very realistic and pragmatic guy. He's not going to be leaving for many other clubs in the championship because so many are so similar. Hull potted Rosenior for finishing 7th! It's not a good look to potential new managers. Who in a relatively stable job fighting at the higher end of the table is going to leave for any of the clubs below them? If he was to leave I'm sure he would only want a job at club above or around us in the league and I just don't see that happening.

Yeah I would say Eustace will stick around till a parachute club wants him. Could be as early as summer / early next season if we keep up our form and finish in the playoffs.

If we dont make the playoffs no one will really be interested in Eustace, like all interest in JDT evaporated after we finished 7th in his first season.

We all know what is going to happen. Nothing.

Possibly a last minute mediocre loan or two.

The last two times we’ve been in a strong position in January, venkys have wasted any chance to capitalise. We really are not far away, a decent striker and a left winger and top 6 if very realistic.

And we need a CB, who is comfortable covering RB.

Step forward James Hill!

Was on the bench and came on for Bournemouth on Sunday so not much chance of that I would guess.

I think we'll have to muddle through till Carter's back in about a month hopefully?

Think the forward positions are the priority if there's any money available

Great team spirit this season with some big personalities in the squad so need to be careful that any players coming in in Jan don't upset that

Rodney Marsh going to Man City.

Didn't realise Peterborough were struggling so much. With us in the playoffs currently, them not playing for much and Poku's contract running down... Perhaps there's a chance.

Mothersille also a tidy player for them.
