if we get anyone who is actually a good scout then he`ll quit within a month because he won`t want to work with idiots and incompetents.seems to me that parke left because of that very reason

They’d get sick of being sent to Coventry every week 😭

I thought the Forshaw transfer might catch us out. Sanderson as a 4th / 5th choice cb seemed a calculated risk. But to bring in Forshaw as ‘first sub’ to Trav/Tron was not great planning.

On a positive note, Buckley played well yesterday, and if the defence and Keeper continue doing their job, then it’s back to the forwards to start doing theirs!

Fingers cross we get the right signings, sooner than later.

I wasnt impressed by him midweek but he was certainly better today. That being said, his good play all came within a chunk of the middle of the game and he wasnt that impressive around that.

Either way, lets not fool ourselves into thinking that he is a player who should be a potential regular in a side with play off aspirations based on a solitary performance in a loss at Oxford.

We fans may have play off aspirations but Waggott and Co, just want to avoid relegation by all accounts...

We are in dangerous territory now cos the team has been pillaged of talent.. No reinvestment now, leaves us teetering on the edge, when Eustace leaves and he will do before the season ends ...

Rio was shit no matter where he played though.

I hope you're either baiting or never actually watched him play. How good he was is debatable but to write him off as shit? You don't become a main stay in a dominant Man U team and win 80 England caps if you're shit.

We have enquired about Lewis O’Brien on loan. They want majority of £40,000 a week wages covered.

Could really need him right now, but that one will either not happen or drag out because of his wages. I'm sure we've made a number of enquiries that we haven't followed up on.

If true then why/who is so obsessed with O'brien at ewood? No logic .

Game coming up but little interest on here after the Oxford day out.

The forwards are doing what they can, they're just not good enough. We have so many players out that would be in the first eleven which all points back to the inadequacy of the squad at the start of the season in terms of number and quality.

Judging by the transfer window so far things are not going to change and our assault on Top 6 is likely to fade.

O'Brien just isn't going to happen, we'd need him now and how much of his wages are we going to pay? 12k? Forest will wait till the end of the window then it's more or less pointless because travis will be back.

We need attackers and fast it's pretty simple.

Pretty sure we aren't after O,Brien, I'm guessing the comment was made tongue in cheek, I don't think Nixon has put anything out yet has he?

Not a cat in hells chance O'Brien comes to us, he'd rather go to Stanley. We'd be the last team he would want to join and rightly so.

Not tongue in cheek, willing to come aswell apparently.

Blackburn Rovers have asked for Lewis O’Brien on loan - two years after their deadline day disaster.

Boss John Eustace fancies the drive of midfielder O’Brien to add to his team and the player would go despite the botched attempt to sign him cause mayhem.

Nottingham Forest want as much of O’Brien’s £40,000-a-week wages as they can get.

Blackburn Rovers academy chief Stuart Jones is quitting despite a handful of his discoveries making the first team squad.

Long serving Jones is leaving at a time when Rovers are including four or five of their home grown kids in a vital boost to their group.

They're live now, but you're probably right. I think the EFL did us one on that one with the relegation clause having to be inserted, and I'm sure O'Brien sees that as well. McGuire on the other hand has more of a right to be pissed off. Unfortunate that O'Brien wasn't registered by Forest...
