Eustace confirmed yesterday we had bid for a player

Only cash bid that has been hinted in the media has been Asante, it might not be him but best bet it is at the moment

Ah OK, I thought he was saying at the time that he wasnt aware if there'd been a bid had been made for Asante and as at yesterday he was saying that he hoped there were things going on but he didn't think anything was imminent.

The ONLY thing that matters is that we get the right ones. When we get then is going to be a bone of contention amongst the fan base, but ultimately, IF they get it right, then they’ll be forgiven-ish.

The big question is can they get it right. History says not, I hope history is wrong.

Its not the only thing that matters, even if it is clearly the most important.

We have 4 crucial games between now and then, if you include QPR the day after deadline day when no last ditch signings will likely play. A nice run of games on paper, and there are only 15 games after that  If we struggle in these 4 those play off aspirations could really diminish.

We haven’t signed players because our owners don’t want to spend money.

True story, but unfortunately for them, maybe fortunately for us, they don't have a choice on that front.

If they can't or don't want to spend money there is only one solution - leave - preferably by handing the club over. That's the only way they can avoid spending more money.

Not coughing up a few million of the club's own money to give it a chance in the promotion shake up is only ensuring that we at best remain a Championship club, have few/no assets and we soon return to costing them £10-15 million a year at least. Not a lot they can do about that. If they aren't leaving then there's promotion to the PL (not happening in a month of Sundays) or sell players for big profits (soon to be at an end).

It's one of the few things keeping me going here....knowing that in the not-too-distant future those who don't want to spend any more are going to be getting a request for a multi-million transfer to keep the lights on. And again and again and again forever and they won't be able to direct Waggott to sell a few players to cover it as there aren't any. What a shame. Then it's back to their responsibility to cover.

Someone pick the positives out of that, 4 more in the treatment room. Get that fucking useless cunt CEO out of our club. He can take his puppet Gestede with him.

To be fair he could have put Sanderson on at right back and kept JRC in centre mid. Injury would have forced change anyway but there was a choice

I’m sorry JRC is one of the worst footballers I’ve ever seen play for us. He is absolutely fucking awful. Can’t run, can’t pass, can’t shoot, can’t defend.

He was awful tonight. Ball watching and half hearted attempts to defend for both goals.

A squad player at best that should be nowhere near the starting XI for a club in the top 6 of the Championship.
