Just seen his update.

I absolutely despise that human being, what an absolute load of tripe!

I long for the day these owners and that piece of work disappear from this club!

What difference would it make if the Waffling Wally Wobble Wonderfully off I Wonder? No-one would notice, and there'd be £320K more a year to spend on folk who actually make a difference to the club..

Waggott = Wasteofspace.

Waggott Out!

VENKYS OUT!

SUHAIL PASHA OUT!

Let him know how you feel mate:

[email protected]

I have mate, many times...in a civilised manner, but fear for what I would write right now. I did get a response back some time ago, but a generic "Steve the clapped out car saleman is aware of your email and will be in touch".

I feel for Eustace to be honest. I wasn't enthused by the appointment but anyone can see that he is an honest, down to earth bloke that wants success here. How many times are they going to take the piss with these people.

Anybody can see that this club still has the foundations to get back to where it once was and that is down to one reason....the loyalty of the fans. Just look how close we would be if we went on another run, a chance to get back to where we once were. They absolutely do not want it!

I see glimmers of pride still, certain many would come out of the woodwork if they were to fuck off. I would absolutely take league two and new owners and a proper board with even a shred of interest right now.

Glad I don't do social media, I can only imagine the happy clappers lapping those words up right now, expecting them to dig deep into their pockets.

The fact they aren't interested, aren't investing, and aren't renewing contracts is the only hope I have that they may be considering calling it a day, but we all know it's just down to incompetence. You only have to look at the state of the ground to see that's a real reflection of how much they give a shit.

100% uninspiring. The aim has “always been to look at improving” the attack…?! Really? That’s so, so defensive and weak. He can’t fail then, as long as he tries. We all knew it I guess, but there it is, out in the open from the CEO himself (again). There is just no ambition there, and anyone at the club trying end up frustrated and leaving after a while. As hire As, Bs hire Cs, and (in Rovers’ case) Ds hire… unqualified candidates. I just can’t forget Waggott’s leadership principles- the Teflon principle and the swan syndrome. Good stuff. Eustace will likely slide or paddle out of there sooner than later.

We cannot keep selling good players and acquiring ordinary ones forever. At some point the club will be unviable and disappear down the drain.

This could come quite quickly and all their "investment" will be lost.

I hold on to he hope that, at that point, they will sell. They'll get way less than they could have ,of course but that's par for them.

He's layering in the excuses ahead of the disappointment that is to come. At best, expect a couple of squad fillers to come in to add the "strength and depth" he mentions in the last paragraph.

The sad thing is, many in the wider fanbase and across social media are going to fall for it and parrott the very words that he has put out in that statement, when we don't get the players we need.

I can just see it now. Window goes as we expect it to and the reaction from some of the fans, based on that statement, will be along the lines of:

Paragraph 1 - "They have to be the right fit ffs. We can't just buy anybody, they have to be the right character. Do you want bad apples spoiling the dressing room? I don't (moral high ground) and Eustace doesn't either. I trust Eustace (even though it wasn't his call). Player x is a t&£! anyway, I'm glad we didn't get him. Happy to wait until the summer where better deals will turn up. Be patient ffs".

Paragraph 2 - "Injuries ruined all our plans. What don't you understand, ffs! How is Waggott/Gestede at fault? We were trying to sign attackers, but nobody could have foreseen the injury situation. Eustace told us we were looking at improving the attack, Waggott told us too, but a freak run of injuries stopped us from being able to make those signings. We had to address other areas. It's purely bad luck. Nobody is to blame".

"Our budget couldn't stretch to all areas, you know? We aren't Man City. Do you want a centre mid or a striker? I'd rather see Leonard get a run of games and I'm pleased we have signed Robbie Mustoe as cover for Adam Forshaw".

"On a positive note, Travis and Tronstad coming back soon along with Brittain and Batth will be like new signings. We will actually be finishing the season with a stronger squad. This squad won six in a row earlier this season, they could do that again. Why can't you be positive? We're only 6 points off the top 6. We'll bring in the quality we need in the summer window, just get behind the team".

Paragraph 3 - "FFS, we weren't the only club looking for new signings you know. January is always a limited window. Other clubs with more money were competing with us for player x, y and z. What do you expect? We can't compete with them".

"It's not the club's fault, it's FFP and parachute payments that have done us over again. We tried, but I'm happy with the honest bunch of players we already have. I don't want bad eggs to ruin the togetherness, tbh. Anyway, Gestede and the recruitment team will have more time to prepare for the summer window and I'm fine with that".

Some have already started placing the whole blame and their focus towards our injury situation, forgetting what the real problem is here.

Venky's out. Pasha out. Waggott out.

100%

As soon as tronstad got injured I knew that would be the narrative

and when the other lads got injured the other night I bet Waggott was in dreamland - now has an excuse to present for his failings….again

Kone, Poku and Alsgaard are the ones I would try to bring in on permanent transfers. Then Broadhead on loan.

Three league one players...shouldn't be an problem and one prem player who can't get in the team.

Who decides if it is justified?  Pretty wide cast net that, justified.

I always thought Suhail worked for Venkys, not the other way around? 🤷‍♂️

If Venkys wanted to invest into the squad, they get on the blower and tell Suhail he's getting the ol'warchest and to work with the recruitment team to get some players in, surely?

Makes no sense why Suhail is the blocker, if Venkys want to invest, nothing is stopping them, it's their name above the door.

Broadhead has literally started in at least 2 of their last 3 games
