Hedges has been poor, Dolan is as likely to be as good as anyone else, or as poor as anyone else.

Why he's being cast as the anti-Christ I don't know.

That is fair comment.

I'm not an admirer of the show pony but who's better?

KO time is 2.45 am TH time. If I have any sense I'll give this a swerve.

Rumour over on another thread was he refused to play for the under 21s and has been banished.

I'd prefer to change the shape to a back 3 to utilise brittain and Becks width and attacking threat due to our lack of decent wingers.

That said we are pretty good defensively in the current shape so if we are insisting on 4-2-3-1 you'd be looking at siggurdson in on the left and cantwell at 10. Neither Weimann, dolan or Hedges really deserves to start and at the moment only offer work rate /defensively work.

I'd be going:

                        Pears

       Hyam.  Batth.  Pickering

Brittain.   Buckley.  Tronstad.   Beck

                        Cantwell

              Ohashi.      Leonard

I. Hope that's not true. Hedges needs sidelining. At least Siggy has a goal on him.

If Stoke do us 4-0 we're diarrhea

A 4 nil. Home defeat won't happen imho

It will be a close call I think.. Just hoping we can nudge it somehow.

@KentExilehad a good idea regarding Pickering back in and playing Beck as a left side midfielder. I'd go with that but I'm afraid Eustace will stick to the same boring shite.

I agree with you on both the game and playing Beck further up the pitch where he can do more damage to their defence and has the speed and grit to get back to help Pickering.

Dont see mr careful Eustace changing much apart from using the same cycled 14 players. BUT I think it needs a reshuffle. Our wingers are poor and slow and cant cross a ball. I think we need someone in midfield that can pass forward, and I think we would benefit being a bit more direct. I think Yuki or Gueye would benefit from having a partner.  I don't like 3 at the back but I think we might better off going 352, gives yuki or Gueye a partner, and gets Bukley in the team to pass forward, and we havent any good wingers in form, plus Duru and beck have the legs to get up and down. Id go:

                      Pears
            Hyam Batth Pickering

Duru   Buckey            Trav/Tron         Beck
                    Cantwell
               Leonard Gueye

I’ve been thinking along those lines. The current set up isn’t working. I’ve also been concerned about have two water carriers in central midfield, especially in home games, for a while. What did we sign the lad from Stoke for ? I thought he was a more attacking midfield player ?

We have to win this to bring some positivity back and ideally convincingly. No idea how that is going to happen though the squad looks really poor in an attacking sense.

As a start Dolan and Hedges need to be benched in favour of others or a different setup. I like the back 3 and wing back idea someone else had on here think that would work well with Britain and Beck giving us some width.

Also whoever plays up front needs some support so would go with both Gueye and Ohashi to start.

You keep mentioning our wingers. I must have missed them this season. What we have is a multitude of number tens, one of which (not even the best one) is played there. The others are squeezed in where-ever possible.
