Baker can't play against his parent club.

Put travis back in and Buckley behind the striker

Buckley continues to look poor to me. Much like myself at 5 a side, if you give him time to dictate a game he’s capable but put him under any pressure and make him work and he loses the ball or can only go backwards.

If Moran is the one tasked with putting him under pressure, Buckley would have all the time in the world 😉

Folk really are setting themselves up for a fall tomorrow night aren't they....

It was a comment made in jest, hence the silly emoji which accompanied it.

Moran is a technically adept player who more than capable of hurting us if he is allowed to do so, but as we know from experience, he will go hiding if the going gets tough.  Its up to Rovers to make sure that he goes hiding tomorrow.

He’s probably the best of a bad bunch at this point and he played his best football under Mowbray there

We've hit an all time low here, surely? As we've only scored twice in October we've had to combine the goal of the month competition with the ladies team.

That is the funniest/saddest set of goals of the month I have ever seen...!

John Eustace says in the LT, he's thinking of starting Gueye and Ohashi  together  tomorrow night. A step in the right direction, let's play an attacking formation instead of sitting back.

I think it is more important not to start Dolan or hedges.

Oh great, so instead of having 1 shit forward on the pitch we'll have 2.

I've a feeling we might see a better performance, with both of them starting in the line up. They might have you eating your words ( shit forwards).

He's not caused opposition any problems since the Dingles game, the only problems he's caused are to us when he trampoline touches the ball out of play from a throw in. Like all underpar Rovers players I'd happily eat my words should he turn it round however my view remains that he doesn't hold the requisite level of technical ability to be a success at this level.

He mentioned on Sky Sports post Derby game that both could play together.

Ohashi can play the 10 with Gueye as the 9. He did play 2 up front at Birmingham

That's sending off has massive affect his performance and lost his confidence

Yeah im not having this idea where the idiotic red card at Burnley saw his confidence fell off a cliff.

Before then, he had only started 2 league games. Against Derby, he dragged one reasonable chance wide and then missed an absolute sitter. Against Norwich he did lay on a nice pass for Hedges to score but never looked like scoring himself, then he was dropped v Oxford. When he came on he did technically get an assist (was essentially just a very good individual turn and goal by Sigurdsson) and also shanked a shot of his own almost out of the stadium.

He may be low on confidence, but thats not his main issue. He is technically so poor and clearly not someone who has the instinct to sniff out chances nor the technique to take them. He can bring the ball down usually on his chest but its of no use if he cant play a subsequent 5 yard pass. Lets hope he proves many of us wrong.

This may seem abit rogue but I’m not sure how anyone can look past a switch to a 3-5-2 set up. I really like the look of:

Pears

Hyam Bath Pickering

JRC Travis Tronstad Beck

Cantwell

Gueye Ohashi

For me it just seems so well balanced. Let JRC and Beck provide the width and put the ball the ball in box meanwhile Ohashi and Cantwell playing off Gueye has a lot of potential.

It’s been clear for a while that our wingers are no where near good enough which has led our attacking threat to be pretty much nil. This set up gives us a greater presence up top and means neither Gueye or Ohashi will be isolated - which they have constantly been this season.

I honestly back Gueye. We have not been playing to his strengths - only then can we judge him.

So you disagree then? He was having a good game until his sending off

We only played 3 games before the Burnley game. He started 2 and off the bench in 1.

How many actually chances have we created for him? Maybe less than 5. To lesser point we don't created many chances for our attacking players. Hence why I want Brittain and Beck has our full back putting the ball into the box more for attacking players

He is lacking of confidence which you can see. He need a goal then confidence will rise upwards.
