Cantwell should have done better with that and made it 2.

And should've made it 3 just there. No idea why he thought he wasn't offside, he was offside for quite a while. Slight correction and he'd have had an even easier time with that rebound and it would've counted.

Cantwell is class but seems a bit wasteful today

For all the talk of Cantwell being class, I’m yet to see him having a match winning performance. You look at Szmodics, Dack, etc who had the ability to win games in their own. I don’t think Cantwell has shown anything like that yet, he’s very good at clipping the ball from side to side under no pressure but has had little positive impact in the areas where it matters for me.

If our attackers could finish he'd be on 5 or 6 assists already

Not really.  The football we play in their half is decent.  The football we play in ours is dire.

As king Kenny said.  Get the ball up the pitch then play your football in the opposition half.

Not really. Out goal came from playing from our keeper, and we’ve just gone from back to front again for Weismann’s chance just then.

Ohashi looking really bright. Still getting up to speed with the more intricate stuff and I’d like to see us trying to play him through more often, but encouraging performance and is first choice striker, for me.

Cantwell not at the same level today as he has been recently. Looks too eager to get a goal when he has the opportunity, needs a bit of composure.

We still don’t look solid at the back. All defending feels desperate. Surprised they’re not targeting Pickering more.
