Brendan Rogers?

Blimey.

I'd Say Guardiola and Klopp were the two ideal candidates, after that Tuchel is as good as we could get imo. Look at the effect he had on Chelsea after inheriting a mess off Frank Lampard.

Klopp didnt want to manage at the minute which you haven't considered in your post.

do not blame them, why risk getting injured when the season is coming up to a busy period and then christmas, fifa are flogging the players relentlessly with this daft nations league and the even more ridiculous world club cup

And we've got rid of the famous F.A Cup replays to make way for this shit.

Just the 8 players pulling out for the pointless glorified friendlies.

Obviously the players take these ‘competitive’ games as seriously as the rest of us (roverandout aside, of course).

That could well be a reflection on you. But as I don't know you, I couldn't possibly comment.

Well it's still better than watching boring rovers

Still up on the Nations League hill, ready to meet your maker.

It's crap I'm afraid. Fans know it, coaches know it, players know it.

Better is subjective.

I've always been Rovers over England and I know many others are the same.

Aside from the Nations League being practically meaningless to begin with, cant for the life of me understand Carsley being left in charge for these 2 games.

Whatever he does in terms of tactics or personnel is absolutely irrelevant and the result is almost as unimportant given he will be leaving the post imminently.

Watching Rovers often does lead to torment. Thats because it means something unlike the Nations league.

8 pull outs tells you everything you need to know. Interesting to see how many magically recover in a fortnight.

I don't doubt that most of them will, but they are injured. This isn't a Ryan Giggs scenario. 2 of them had to come off at the weekend.

Having said that, this is the 3rd international break so far this season. They are annoying, but if I want England to win a tournament (which I do) I think they should play together more. I also think that not having Tuchel in charge is odd too.

Mate, even the players don't want to be there.

Are you seriously telling me that these glorified friendlies are better than Chesterfield going hammer and tongues for 90 minutes against West Ham and taking them to a replay?

Give over.

I want to see England win something before I fucking die. We are not going to do owt with Alan Pardew or Gary O'Neill in charge. Mind you, I grew up abroad so I don't have that attachment to institutions in the same way.

Yes that explains your usage of the word "owt" it's such a common term abroad isn't it?

Tuchel referred to as the "German bloke" in the Sun in another riveting piece of intelligent journalism. Who the hell cares where he's from?

Even if Tuchel was in charge. The tournament is 19 months away, playing a few extra jazzed up friendlies in an already overcrowded schedule isnt going to make a difference.
