That was one of my favourite Rovers sides of all time, from the dependability of Big Brad, the shithousery of Savage, the guile of Gamst and the silky skills of Bently at his best, there was something for everyone. That game was an amazing spectacle, and Rovers more than deserved to win. Oh for the days when local rivalry was measured against the likes of Man U!! Happy Days, indeed!

Went to this game with my Man U supporting boss. He was quite chipper on the way down…less so on the way home.

Everything you want from a big game under the lights & possibly in the top 3 of my all time favourite Rovers experiences…👌
