Shame to see such a big club struggling so badly for so long. Pathetic mis-management that we can easiily relate to.

Tricky looking midweek fixture. History suggests we will struggle, but that history doesn't belong to this manager.

Rovers with another convincing 1-0 victory. We are better than we think and our team spirit is on another level.

In a game where everyone is expecting a tough test and perhaps an end to this unRovers like winning streak... I'd like the manager to do the opposite of what we're expecting and just go for it. Love to see ACD get a start and see if he can be a match winner for us. Take the game by the scruff of the neck and get at them.

I watched the game against PNE... They're not very good. Just another organised championship side like many of others. PNE bossed them for large periods and we're the better footballing team. We should be looking to do better.

I’ve not much confidence for this one. Midweek away, due an upset, and a tough place to visit. I said that for Boro, Leeds and Hull though… so who knows!

I’ve been sleuthing on the Owl’s Talk forum, and general consensus is that they’re not overly confident. They’re playing poorly but still picking up points. Some Owls are treating it as a 6 pointer if they’re wanting a play off spot - which is a bold assumption we’ll be up there 🤣

It’s a shame Bannan is back, as that guy seems to orchestrate their game.

Bookies have them as favourites - but we have defied the odds 3 (maybe 4) times on the bounce now.

I really want to win this one after both of last season’s debacles.

🔵🌹

Side note… what are the words for the Tronstad ole ole ole chant?

We are about to come close to a game every 3 days - also called christmas. So going by how we usually perform over the holidays, every single point we can pick up before christmas is essential. Which brings us to today. Four wins (deserved!) on the bounce so we are due a loss? Right now I’ll easily take a 0-0 and that one point, but not expecting much from either team so I think it will be a «those who scores first wins» kinda game. Hopefully that is us! If not it won’t be the end of the world. Just continue tomperform as a unit and we will come good in the end.

Please please please prove me wrong, Eustace! Take back midweek with a thumping win and I’ll start to believe in santa again. Onwards an upwards. COYB!!!

Remember that Pears had nightmare games both times last season against this lot. He need to step up if we will get something from this game.

As pointed out above Pears did not play in the game at Hillsborough. Why are you so determined to talk down one of our players ?

Would be ecstatic to win this, would really lay down a marker to have a true go at the play offs. Just to keep picking up points though should be the main objective. A draw would be a decent result and I'm somewhat tempted to put that on an acca.

You must have rotten guts then, I suggest a doctors or a bookies for those two goalscorers

Don't get behind him in the stands 😉

Gueye doesn't get into enough goal scoring positions to increase convert chances, slightly reminiscent of a previous incumbent named Gallager...I wonder if we should consider the reverse of the Sutton switch, and convert him into a centre half? Either way, there needs to be some rub of the green at some point for either Mak or Yuki, which might see an upswing in their confidence in front of goal, which would be very timely going into the fixture congestion over the next few weeks.

I'm hoping that Rovers form will be maintained, and the recent momentum extended, but am aware we may also suffer the seasonal blues as in previous years. That said, why should a different manager and a largely different group of players do anything other than plan for each game as it comes, and ignore what other Rovers sides have delivered in the past?

I always want us to win at Wednesday, ever since the kicking me and my family took in the Leppings Lane end years ago, when we were 3-0 up by half time courtesy of Bob (the flapper) Bolder..

COYB!
