Fine win. Excellent dummy assist from Gueye 😉 He covered the pitch well.

So many attacking options today. Some interesting selection problems for Eustace

There still isn't enough pace and width.

Dolan and Hedges are good squad players - if they're on your bench you're doing alright. If that's a typical ACD performance then we just need a player on the left to balance it out.

Beck scored today, but he's clearly not a winger.

Gueye, Ohashi, Cantwell (and hopefully Leonard) will start scoring more regularly if you provide them with service.

With our owners I think the best we can hope for is someone like Godo on loan from Fulham. We won't be spending any serious cash.

A couple of weeks is a while in football with the amount of games at this level, a shit Guye is now Big Mak again.

A few months is a long time in football, Pears has gone from blunder in the waiting Championship version of Fettis to steady if un spectacular Champ version of John Filan.

Development lads, development, it's what this team and club is all about right now as frustrating as it has been we are now enjoying the fruits of that labour and frustration.

This gaffer and his staff is the best fit since early Mowbray and i sense his ambition is a notch above that regime. If only he gets a modicum of the backing early Mowbray had we could have our Championship version of Hughes.

Please please pull some rabbits out the had in Jan and help this development club finally turn into and Ipswich/Luton/Brentford.

Perfect performance today all things considered.

COYB !

Fantastic win, 6 in a row is incredible. 5 clean sheets in a row even more so. Loving every second of this while it lasts.

Believe Matt Smith is a Rovers fan because his mum is possibly from the area (not 100% sure on that but I seem to recall reading it once). Also huge nerd-alert admission here but I once met him at a Doctor Who convention. It was the day Rovers lost 2-1 away at Bolton in around March of 2012, the season we got relegated from the Prem. Spoke to him for about 5 minutes and in that time all he talked about was Rovers (I was wearing a Rovers shirt at the time).

Anyway swiftly moving on, only things missing today for me was a goal for Ohashi and another for Gueye. Would've been the icing on the cake.

I thought it was his Dad side of the family. His Dad side of the family are from Darwen.

Never in doubt. We look completely in control. What I love about this team is that we don’t need to be playing well to score a great goal, and / or win. For long periods in that first half, we weren’t great. Then, it seems he has the ability to flick a switch, he tells them to jump and they all ask, “How high, gaffa!?”

It feels like he warned them that Luton would come at them in the 2nd half and we came out of 100% confident of stifling any attack. I believe that even if Luton scored, we could’ve just gone up a gear and got another goal or two.

This is a better equipped team than Mowbrays was, or JDT’s because honestly of the manager. JE has them all eating out of the palm of his hand.

7 or 8/10 across the board.

Stand outs, ACD, Trav and Sonny. Special mention for Gueye who his best game for us and Yuki who played well as the second striker.

10/10 to the manager and coaching staff.

Surely you'd have to be straight up trolling to believe that Tronstad hasn't been excellent - and incredibly consistent - for us since signing (barring some dodgy early performances).

He's objectively one of our best players and first names on the team sheet, for good reason.

Its classic Revidge and he'll try and pick up some weird fault from Tronstad all season now the stubborn old tit.

Everyone else? Love him.

Thought he was outstanding today, man of the match for me.

He once did an interview (I think Radio Times) where he said the Dr’s greatest enemy was Burnley FC.

You cannot ask more of the players again today. The defence was strong, we took our chances (obviously Gueye fancied an assist not the goal for the second), and our keeper made some good saves.

It was very pleasing to see our lads ready to stand up for Ohashi when the bad tackle went in. Too often in the last few years it has been the other way around.

7 and 8 out of 10's all around again, I can get used to this!

I was at the game today - Tronstad was completely anonymous first half and had a good second half.

Overall he doesn't get involved enough for me.

Merry Christmas to you too.
