You know you've got an injury crisis when we've recalled Edmondson from the Evo-Stik and he's on the bench!

Does that mean he can’t be loaned out again or only if he played?

I don’t think he will get a sniff to be honest and think we have stuck him on the bench for experience. He will be glued to the action though, I suspect.

Theres an outside chance this is actually the 442 we finished against Oxford with -

                           Toth

Brittain.     Batth.  Hyam.   Beck

JRC.       Buckley    Cantwell.    Hedges

                 Dolan.     Gueye

We did actually look much better when we did that change around 80 mins.

Looking at that bench, I'm not confident at all. Expect a loss with cracks starting to show in Eustaces presser after.

 F*cking sign some player!

Injuries aside its an embarrassing bench for a side currently 5th in the league, and perfectly shows how well Eustace has done this season.

How anyone can think we only need a new winger and a striker this month is beyond me.

Winger & striker have always been priority but since this flurry of injuries then yes we need at least 4 signings in these next weeks

Let's face it the Loons have abandoned us as a team. Whilst they try and save face by still being in existence, and they lose money every month, they don't give a shit. I'm sure they very occasionally look at the table, and think JE is the messiah. I just wish they would f*ck off, and I'd be back in an instant. I still can't fathom why they hang on, other than money laundering?

What other reason for not investing when we are in the top six coming February?

We've got no chance tonight. Nobody can come off that bench to strengthen the team - and it's another mid-week game so the starting 11 will be knackered.

We're playing Coventry not Liverpool. The injuries are less than ideal and we should have had a couple of new signings starting by now but we've every chance.

I reckon they glance at the table and assume it’s all down to their visionary football club ownership model, before getting back to whatever whack-job, rich person hobby they’re busying themselves with that week.

First time I've been lacking any enthusiasm for a match all season. It's the disheartening inevitability of JE and the team pushing beyond all expectations to be right in the heart of play-off contention only for it all to be undone by the refusal to back them from those upstairs/in India. Tronstad and Trav's injuries are just the cherry on particularly rubbish, familiar cake.

Depressing, but right on the money.
