It's becoming clearer by the game to me as to why Todd Cantwell ended up signing for Venky's poisoned Rovers, with nobody else vying for his signature.

Forget the ridiculous price tag back at that time for a minute, the Norwich version of Cantwell wouldn't have even glanced in this direction.

Venky's and quality don't go hand in hand. An absolute embarrassment to football in this country and an embarrassment to football fans in India and to those of Indian descent around the world.

F#ck off Balaji, same for you Jagdesh and you Pasha.

A few who watch a lot of Scottish football (Celtic ) said this at the time but we’re shot down as being biased and not welcoming the second coming of Christ to Ewood.

Everyone’s cottoning on now to the the fact he’s a show pony, and a lame one at that!

It'd be peak Rovers to spaff the entire budget on a slow CAM.

Well he’s quicker than any of our forward players and can play on both wings or as a number ten. In fact that’s his squad number.

But we’ll stick with what we’ve got.

Why not pull JRC off. He’s proving nothing but the illusion of a player.  Just making it worse for himself and the team.

He’s not earned a hand job tonight

He makes Radosav Petrovic look like Modric.

He sits so deep on the center backs providing no options for the back to play him and his distribution is only completed if it’s within 5 yards. Pointless

He has a really poor range of passing for a CM. Another Evans - gets a nosebleed if he ventures beyond the halfway line and can only really pull out 5 yard passes.

He is a lot worse than Evans..

I know we often clash on this but I really feel the ire is misplaced here, I get there’s niggly fouls but I think he’s done a decent job overall, no ref is flawless but I don’t think a bunch of yellows have been needed today

Lazy offside by Andi there

You need an early yellow card to stamp out the niggly fouls. They break up the play and only benefit one team.

I'm not saying book players for every foul, but after two or three by the same player he should be in the book for persistent fouling. The two Burnley CMs and FBs did the exact same thing and it ruined the game.

Just an expected January game at Rovers, the opponents stroll in and out of Ewood without getting out of 2nd gear. They did nothing yet looked absolutely comfortable in the game.

A quick request to Steve and Co. Can we have a half season ticket starting at the start of the season and ending when you lot all wrap your tits in.

Played well, created some good chances, shouldn't be lost this game..

Gueye our best player tonight.

Injuries to Batth, Brittain and JRC not helpful at all tonight.

Played well until they scored, pretty awful second half but agree we really shouldn’t be losing that.

Gueye was by a long way our best player but as Roversfan99 will point out he didn’t stick it in the onion bag.

A truly frustrating evening

As has been the case in recent seasons Rovers go in to Christmas in the play off places, and a January slump sets in due to squad depth being exposed by injuries, whilst teams around us spend.

Eustace has given the owners EVERY reason to back him. Overachieving with a pretty average squad, but one that could be really pushed on with a few smart additions. But we did have similar scenarios with Mowbray and JDT.

Same old same old.

If ever there was an opportunity for Swag and his cronies to ask for an emergency fund, it is now. Venkys never refuse to sign off a cheque, right?

Start taking an interest or sell the club. What is the point?

You only have to see the state of the ground to know they definitely refuse to sign cheques. Never mind the state of the pitch.
