Sorry what has he said that's wrong there?

Our model is to sell players to prevent the owners having to invest any money into the club so they can hold onto it for as long as possible for reasons that absolutely nobody can fathom.

We dont seem to pay decent fees.

I'm not trying to be overdramatic, but I'm worried about where our next win is coming from. Ashton Gate is a graveyard for Rovers, then we have a local derby against a team coming into form and we haven't won in our last 8(?) local derbies except against Blackpool...

Cozier -Duberry a passenger at this level. Like playing a man down.

He's a little boy playing in a man's game.

He might be useful if your team is on top and he consistently receives the ball in the final third - think Burnley under Kompany - but yeah being asked to run by a man from deep is beyond him.

Trying to work out who Forshaw reminds me of and it’s a really shit, late-stage Jordan Henderson. Absolutely nothing with the ball, doesn’t fancy getting into tackles and can’t be relied upon to move it more than ten yards.

Forshaw is clearly on his last legs and doesn't give a shite.

Thought forshaw was rubbish again. To add to his lack of mobility we can add awful on the ball. If it's not a 10 yard sideways pass he doesn't know what to do.

Another one to the gut. Nightmare opponents.

Won’t single out anyone negatively other than saying that this group and Eustace need help. They’re breaking down in front of our eyes. Still no signings.

It’s the hope that kills you.

We really aren't far off needing those "bench filling youngsters". Fuck you Venkys!

Don't you mean those from out amazing academy?? They are there because they are undeniable talents and nothing to do with the fact we haven't a pot to piss in. No coincidence whatsoever.

It’s not all bad. We’re still 6th despite only 1 League win in 8.

The squad has coped until recently however now the cracks are starting to show after too many games for the remaining players like Tronstad & Batth.

A blind man can see that reinforcements are needed. But they have to be better than what we’ve already got or there’s no progression. Unfortunately these owners and the CEO only plan from one window to the next and there is zero ambition to progress, in fact they’ve consistently shown they actively avoid it.

Let’s hope at very least for more bodies in the door of better quality. Whilst some have the excuse of fatigue, there were players out there tonight who simply don’t deserve to play for Blackburn Rovers FC.

We haven’t coped, that’s why our recent record is terrible. And the situation is at its worst so far this season.

Not all doom and gloom. Still in 6th. We were more than a match for Cov and would probably have won on another day.

The doom and gloom will come in a couple of weeks when we’ve signed no-one.

There’s plenty of doom and gloom when we lose 2-0 at home to be fair.

we are a side on it`s last legs, fatigue wise and need help in the transfer market desperately or else we`ll be playing isaac dunne, tjyon and gamble

gueye however did look like a proper centre forward tonight,so thats a positve, thought toth flapped at coventrys first goal,if you are going to come for the ball like that you need to flatten everyone in your way to get it,coventry were miles sharper than us but they don`t have most of their first team on the sidelines

Terrible night and the embodiment of years of lack of funding leaving a paper thin squad full of journeymen and players not up to it falling to bits. Eustace has done so well to get this rag tag bunch as high as we are but you can already see us preparing to slide well away.

Gueye deserved man of the match and @Tom has pre empted my comments. The one player with any urgency, some excellent link play but wouldnt score if we played for another 24 hours. His shots with his feet are always telegraphed, poorly hit and never in the corners.

Some of the others that deserve a mention. Ryan Hedges, how can anyone defend him, he offers absolutely nothing at all. John Buckley, a half decent display seems to have tricked some people into thinking hes anywhere near good enough, hes not, every time he gets the ball he takes 2 or 3 touches minimum more than is necessary and just loses all momentum. Rankin Costello was falling to pieces at the end and is not a central midfielder. Adam Forshaw is a joke of a signing. Toth straight off the Wahlstedt conveyor belt. Hard to find any positives tonight if any.
