[Archived] Banner In Blackburn End

Is anyone up for organising a banner for the blackburn end, showing the number of games since we last had pen. Bit like the one at old trafford were they have the number of years since man city won something. It would be a gud laugh and gain some media attention.

brilliant idea! though i haven't even been near ewood... hope i manage to catch a glimpse of the banner on television if it does happen! and maybe... just maybe, some ref will give us a pen...

Should do a really big one, like they do it Italy at the start of games. The banner starts at the front and people pass it over their heads as it gradually works it way up the bbe lower.

Just wanted to show you this, it's pictures taken from Vålerenga's (played against Newcastle in UEFA-cup, remember?) supporter club Klanen (the Clan) and what they managed to come up with for the match against rivals Lillestrøm, yesterday!

Know this is a bit offtopic, but it just shows how good some clubs are at making TIFO and how many working hours some people are willing to put down ! (mind you, VIF makes new banners for every match)

also the banner should feature in writing every game we have played since the last penalty, the line-ups in each game, the ref ofcourse from each game and the attendance at each game, and every person that was in the crowd should also be named as witnesses

We lost points versus Southampton because we werent good enough to hold on to a lead. Ditto Man United. Fair enough, the referee's made some bad decisions, but it certainly wasnt solely down to them.

Bad officiating can only be blamed so many times, things can only happen so many times until you have to start looking slightly deeper for the cause. We bring these things on ourselves by leaving the door open for teams. How they get through that door is incidental.
