A highly promising striker he had an impressive start to his Nottingham Forest career but found himself increasingly played in wide positions. New owners at his club and an introduction of cash made him                                                 superfluous to Forest's immediate requirements. The Rovers placed a bid for his services just before the transfer deadline but no deal was done. He was then loaned to the club with a commitment to purchase for £7,000,000 in the January window. His debut season was disappointing and he was primarily employed as a substitute playing wide. Having to wait eight months for his first goal did not help his situation and he remains a controversial signing who needs to convince people that he can fulfil his potential.
