A centre-back from Liverpool  who had been captain of the Huyton Schoolboy team, he became a regular in the under 21 side when only seventeen. He converted to left back and towards the end of the 2015/16 season was added to the first team squad for the final games. Although Paul Lambert stated that he came close to selection it was not until the opening weeks of the next season that he was nominated as substitute. and his debut came over a year later. A loan spell at Magate was terminated by severe injury and he was released  six months later.
