Summary
Recruited with Eddie Latheron from Grangetown, the apprentice brass moulder was probably the prime target although he only played 3 games whilst Latheron became an all time great. Appreciated with the reserves he finally found a niche with Cardiff where he scored 24 goals. There he played alongside his brother George, who also played for Middlesbrough.
