    Summary

In his first season Per Frandsen helped his small club to the runners up spot, scored fifteen goals and gained his first international cap before moving to further his career in France. In three seasons there he was transformed into a midfield playmaker ,who could hit all the passes in the range, was deceptively mobile and worked hard. Realisation that Lille would never be a power prompted him to return to Denmark but it was with Bolton that his career really blossomed. His move to the Rovers was one of those ill fated decisions and he seldom appeared at ease in a blue and white shirt but recovered his form immediately when he made the return trip to Bolton. He was granted a free transfer by the Wanderers four years later but no sooner had he started at Wigan than his career was terminated by a knee injury. He announced his intentions of returning to Denmark in the close season and starting up as a football agent. In the summer of 2009 he became assistant coach at HB Koge. He was promoted to manager in the autumn of 2012. In 2014 he was the youth coach at Brondby IF and then manager of Akademisk Boldklub (June 2015) and Hvidore IF (Jun'17).
