  1. Wigan had a massive 2/3 page article the other week re S/T's in the Wigan reporter and from memory they are not cheaper than ours on the loyalty early bird prices (early bird for them as well as prices frozen) but can't say how they compare on the normal prices for S/T.
  2. By all accounts he had the wool pulled over his eyes - appararently he was told he would be photographed with both shirts on - then when it came to have the photo with the Arsenal top they supposedly couldn't find it.
  3. Bobski you better sign or else (remember he's behind you) Pie 'n peas do ya with a coooool pint on the side to wash it down with
  4. Interesting aspect for all you footy historians When Accy dropped out of the league 44yrs ago - Oxford came into it - possibility of the reverse happening tomorrow.
  5. Its mine too roversmum - Early Happy Blue' n White Birthday
  6. I'm still trying to remember bar his first game against Wolves He falls ... more like he fails No picking on him - just saying he is crap - I have been saying since his first season, this guy is not a footballer.
  7. And stop trying to control the ball all the time with the outside of his right foot.
  8. Thats Liverpool - not Rovers Bulgaria was tremendous and an experience as many will testify
  9. Stayed right next to their ground for the Euro 2004 Championships - however not much there in terms on nightlife but its only 1/2 hour from Lisbon on the train (which is regular and on time) which when we where there cost about 70p one way
  10. Well if anybody had any doubts I think this should clear it up from the UEFA.com Europe here we come!!
  11. Sorry SG194 but I hate it when people say this -my question is WHY? We deserve without question to be where we are - as does any team Just because we are 'little old' Blackburn doesn't mean to say we are - we have been here before more than alot of teams can say so we certainly have the credentials if not the prestige.
  12. And a great opportunity to put it on sale to the fans before/after the game.
  13. 'Dream on dreamer' Jeepers Eddie - so you are happy for the 'non footballer' to amble through another 3 seasons picking up wages for doing next to nothing? Some people really are blind to what is so apparently obvious - he has been given ample opportunity and has failed miserably - which is no surprise to me considering what I saw in his first season never mind since.
  14. 'Engalnd' rock steady. Anywhere for me - all depends on the timing and where but as already mentioned we will probably end up playing Gretna
  15. Are you sure he was injured 1864, seems like normal to me? As I have said for the past 2 n half seasons - YES get rid.
  16. Good on ya GAV - at least he realised it the 2nd time. You never know some good may come of it he might be GAV mk 2 now in a similar situation with him and somebody else.
  17. Jeeps Bryan where ya bin mucka? IMO do you know how spot on you really are? Anyway, how the hell do people think we stand a chance with pumpkin/lettuce/tomato/swedish cabbage in charge? Blame the FA - does exactly what it says on the tin.
  18. Thing is Gav did you say anything to him? Not having a do , just its the same thing from Rovers fans we like to moan but we see/hear something that we complain/moan about but let it pass. I think it comes back to your very own comments - we have had too much of a good thing and don't realise it. Respect to you for getting your youngster signed up - I only hope I could follow the colour - lets just hope Wigan don't establish themselves like we have done in the Premier - but then again I hope to be back into the bosom of East Lancs soon.
  19. Sorry Gav but I thought Pedeersen did alright tonight compared to many of his recent performances. In fact I thought he had one his better performances if only he would stop trying to score from a corner. Fair enough Charlton didn't exactly put up to much fight but to me that was one of the best performances of the season from the lads we love to criticise. Was it us playing well or was it Charlton playing bad - anyway whatever we will not get the credit due to the happenings with Curbishley. To me we played very well and I think thta sealed our fate for Europe - fook off barcodes - BLACKBURN ARE BACK
  20. That's what I took to Spurs the other season but they wouldn't let me in with em
  21. Didn't they also show it on the screen as well? Lee - just one question on it though - what if you move stands -are the cards the same for all stands?
  22. I bet they bring more than the ticket allocation anyway.
  23. I think what people tend to be missing here regardless of the pros & cons of MGP shooting direct is the inability of the rest of the team to anticipate or attack the ball. The same happens with freekicks. As Tchocky has stated , maybe there is a reason he does what he does as MH and his team feel we will get the most benefit from it due to us lacking in respect of what I mentioned above. I have posted before about the virtue of having somebody covering the back end (far post) of the penalty area around the corner of the six yard box - something I learnt at an early age and scored many a goal from in my younger days and not something you see many teams adopting nowadays which I find strange - you see the flight of the ball most of the time you go unsighted by the defenders who end up ball watching in addition to being able to anticipate and react to any deflections/flick ons.
