It’s £10 per game and £140 for the season. Even missing a few, it’s still decent value. I think I have only missed one, but do have to pop over the boarder now and then.

What are you doing in Hungary. Get yourself to Spain for the next one, it’s a far easier language to learn.

Best game for Buckley for a while. I have always seen this in him. He can be frustrating, but he is finally getting a run together.
-
I have to say, I have been pleased with it.

No. Spain or Germany if you are near the border, but you had better be Very Pretty Nifty

Did he live at Pen island?

Like many other football fans, I considered Motty to be the voice of football for years. The one that really gets me every time I see it, was a glen Hoddle curler right into the top corner. Motty simply shouted "look at that". That summed him up in a split second for me, he just loved the beautiful game.

Despite his critics on here, I love Buckley. I might see something others don’t and it has been a while since I saw it, but last night, he had that extra split second again, that a good football brain gives certain players. On his day, he picks the passes that cause damage. Hopefully, he is back to his best and he can start doing the things he is good at and be the difference, come the final analysis.

It’s two wins and a draw from the last three and 7 points. Very happy with that.

I thought Travis had his best game for months.

I am going to do a Mercer here. My £20 on a 0-0 but cash out around the 70 minute mark, if it is still scoreless. That should return around £80- £90. I am convinced Blackpool will come to frustrate, so hope they don't pick us off near the end and we lose it.
-
I agree. We have seen with Armstrong, the premier league is a huge step up. If it is money only that matters, give it a go, but surely £1.5 million to stay with us, is enough for now and still have a choice a year down the line. I have to say if he does sign, it will be a feather in Broughton's cap, for a change.
-
Ben is not good enough at this point to make an impression in top flight football. Whether it is in the prem or la Liga, he would be lucky to get between 5 and 10 goals. He will know that himself. If he can bank £1.5 million by staying another season, it may well make sense. One more 20 plus season, could give him the confidence and desire to test himself at a higher level, so maybe it’s the way to go.

Much better second half and delighted with the points. Dolan outstanding today, everything else was turgid, but I don’t care. Beer in the chiller and tonight is a celebration. Did we need that!!! -

Horrible half. The optimistic 6 points form the two home games, is looking way wide of the mark at the minute. -
The next 3 games are certainly very big and if we are still in touch at the point, then I agree you do have a valid point. I would take 5 points now, but hope we can get 6 from the two home games and go to QPR with those points in the bag. I honestly think it is a big ask that though.

Do a Mercer and get £5 on the correct score and you should get around 10 pints with you winning at those bargain prices. At least you won’t be bored with the 0-0 you will probably sleep through it. -
I agree. There is nothing wrong with being realistic and keeping a lid on our expectations. I hope like hell we can win our two home league games V Swansea and Blackpool. Do I expect us to win both though, probably not.
-
That’s exactly what I am getting at. We should already have him in our ranks and therefore perhaps have an even better chance in those games. It’s looking highly likely that we won’t have him in for either of them. After that, will he be ready to hit the ground running, having sat out weeks of football? By the time this is sorted and he is match fit, we are more likely to be adrift of the play off places and therefore be picking up his big salary, to finish mid table. What’s the point in that?

It is feeling a bit like the hangman this now, as in way too late. Hang the prisoner and then the solicitor can submit the appeal to clear his name after. It is becoming way to late to make it worthwhile.

Happy with the point tonight. I thought we shaded the first half, but looked devoid of ideas in the second. Given that WBA had won their last 6 on the bounce at home and not conceded in those either, it’s a good result. Add into the mix, we were 1 down after 89 minutes and it’s almost a miracle point.

Made theVAR sign too, after he changed his mind. Very strange
