  1. Not too sure they were insulting offers, but maybe someone knows better than me on that. I have no idea what the amounts were. I have no inside information, but maybe some people do, but perhaps a rethink has now taken place, given so many have turned down previous contract offers.
  2. It hardly matters really, as we are being told that is the model to being sustainable. They need to have a long hard look at what they are offering, as we are almost certainly going to see the next batch do exactly the same otherwise. Unless, I am missing something of course.
  3. It’s been said before that Mowbray did not always seem to act in the best interests of the club. Granted people on here do need to be careful about their source of information, but looking back at things like this, certainly has eyebrows being raised.
  4. Each to their own, but I see a star in the making. He looks very special to me. His one goal so far was very classy and his debut was awesome.
  5. Nice to get a win and keep an interest in the cup. I hate going out early, as it puts me off watching the other ties. We rode our luck today, but dug in and ground it out. It was a tricky tie, so let’s hope to get a better draw in round 4.
  6. Not too sure if Rich Sharpe is defending someone, but he has said on Twitter he isn’t 100%. Not said fit after it so could mean 100% frame of mind.
  7. Very poor that and the manager needs to have a rethink. The lad is good enough for the league, so should definitely be starting today.
  8. We once had Jack Walker too and now we have some Indian people who probably had never heard of Blackburn 15 years ago.
  9. I bet his piece of paper, reminding him to look into it, was filed in for he bin, before you got into the car. Some great crowds in the league below us recently, namely Bolton and Ipswich. Both of those teams have struggled to attract supporters in the past, but manage it now. I bet their CEO’s are both paid far less than Waggott to do a far better job.
  10. Ken Anderson did his best to send Bolton in the same direction as Bury. I think that still having a club to support, along with some proper people in n charge, making sound commercial decisions has helped. Perhaps a few lessons can be learned by our lot, as things are getting better by the day there.
  11. I think the player most likely to find the killer ball to him, was suspended today. I think Adam Wharton is now a must. A bit of flair in the middle will make all the difference and he is our man. Hopefully he has now paid the price for any spat with the manager and he is given a run of games. he is far too good to be wasted.
  12. Waggott went to great lengths to explain to people in meetings, how what they did would be fine. As usual the amount spent reflects how it has ended up and is just typical of the attitude from top to bottom.
  13. Studs right into a players midriff of a ball bounced on a players head. One deserves a yellow and one a red.
  14. We aren’t going to score. No urgency, no flair, no shots on goal and no one looking like they want one. Best we can hope for is 0-0,but I see us hading on to them.
  15. He is now on a card. If the rest of the half carry’s on as it is, Wharton must come in for Garrett at HT. Im thinking of doing a crossword
  16. I would say excessive force was used by a Burnley player, first on Kaminski and on two other occasions. It may not have affected the outcome, but he never received a sharp word, let alone a card.
  17. Interesting. https://www.thefa.com/-/media/cfa/global/files/referees/fourth-official-guidance.ashx
  18. That’s exactly it. Would Carrick have mentioned it after the game, had we done on to win. Would we as fans have been moaning about a blatant sending off, if one of their players had done it? I also do not think the role of the fourth official is to make decisions like that. Imagine if the fourth official had ruled our goal out for offside.
  19. I am sure Josh can defend himself on this, but I’m certain he hasn’t made it up. Expanding on it and maybe quoting the source (if that doesn’t compromise someone) will no doubt clear this up. We are being robbed of seeing an exciting talent, who is one of our own, at the minute, so it needs sorting and fast.
  20. It wasn’t even reckless, let alone thrown with excessive force. Like you, Arbitro is more qualified to make comment on it than me, but does anyone think that ball was thrown even slightly forcefully?
  21. If that’s violent conduct, I’m guilty of wife battery and cruelty to animals. I throw the wife’s slippers to her with more aggression and the dogs ball twice as hard, when he needs a little run.
