In fairness, I think he would have got some stick had he left him out. May sub him at half time though. -

Very open game, but Rovers second best. Doing to us, what we did to Blackpool. Big half coming up. -

The Blackpool game was on a Sky main channel. -

For those living abroad who subscribe to Rovers TV this is the reason the match isn’t on today. Disappointing as this is, I still think £140 for the season is good value. Any games being shown live, either in the UK or abroad are not included, but as shown on this link, a subscription to any one of those channels will give you official coverage of the game. -

I’m in Spain too and will be very surprised if a Spanish channel is showing the game. I will check it out though. -

I love Dolans enthusiasm and although things don’t always come off for him, he wears his heart on his sleeve and is proud to wear the blue and white shirt. I am a fan and see a player on there, just bursting to get out. -

I agreef -
It’s a great bit of business in my opinion and perhaps shows that Broughton is keeping a proper eye on the existing contracts. Buckley has had a dip in form recently, but is a class act and after losing players in the close season, this is a brilliant statement from the club.

Jim was a wonderful man, not to mention a great snooker player. He coached my son for a few years, when he was showing some serious promise of perhaps making a living in the sport. It was sad when he passed away and I know the girls took it very badly. I used to advise Alex and his wife Jan and saw them on a fairly regular basis and last saw them a few years ago when the attended my wife's birthday bash.

Transfer Window - COMPLETE. Where’s Gregg?

The loan comes to an end, at the end of the season. Option 1 is to send him back, the same as we did with Van Hecke for example. We can if we want thought, keep him, but to exercise that option, we have to then pay the already agreed transfer fee. -

He will need to get used to the 3.00PM kick off times, as in Germany, they kick off at tooth hurty. -
Loved his sky interview last night, when he stated he is Blackburn born and bred. It will be great to have two in the first team, once Scott is fit and cheer some proper local heroes.

You loan a player and at the end of the loan period, you either agree to buy him at a pre set amount, or he goes back to his parent club. -
Fending off any suitors.

That’s exactly what he said and added what a great future this young man will have in the game.

Others who had seen him, including a youth team coach, said we had a special talent in Adam Wharton. On todays performance, it’s as good as it gets for a debut. Sky gave him man of the match and sang his praises. So far as the game went, had Blackpool nicked one, it would have been an injustice. Vale and Brereton brought great saves out of their keeper that would have put us out of site. Best performance of the season so far, for me. Very solid debut from Hyam and I thought Carter’s performance was excellent too.

I thought we were in for a hard night in the first ten minutes and expect the same second half. After that we grew into the game, silenced their crowd and took control. Their defence look very shaky and if we can weather their inevitable charge at the beginning, of the second, we can go on to get more. Dack and Wharton have been top quality and we have passed them to death at times. Ale house football is Blackpool tactic, but we have stood up to that so far.
