  1. I spoke to a good friend earlier this week, about a business matter. He is someone I have known for years, but we haven’t spoken for a while. He is literally football mad and Rovers mad. He has two sons, who are almost adults now and both have been brought up asRovers fans and followed the team, all over the country. After we had discussed the business matter, the topic of conversation turned to Rovers. He told me that not only does him and he two sons no longer buy season tickets, they don’t hardly go any more. He went on to tell me that it was directly down to Waggot E Mailing him an abusive reply to a question he had about some small matter that he had an issue with. If Waggot is doing that to a supporter of such ilk, it makes me shudder to think how much other damage he has done. This specifically needs to be pointed out to either Waggot himself or anyone above him, as it is wrecking ball stuff.
  2. He is on holiday with his Mrs and is on a technology ban. He sent a sneaky tweet yesterday, of them both doing a bit of sun bathing.
  3. It may keep the peace, if the new manager is not from that stable. I know one of the first question Coyle was asked, was if he was associated with Kentaro. He said he had never heard of them, although I think that was a bit wide of the mark. Someone already there to keep and eye on their investment, would be useful. It’s back to Allardyce being replaced by a coach in some ways, although a bit more able to stay out of the limelight.
  4. Are you sure he went to India? There is a HSH rep in Brindle. Just a stones throw from Ewood to be able to pop and remind someone what he knows about the whole operation.
  5. If I was in a position, where I knew something and had no feelings for the club, a simple trend bucking refusal to sign a non disclosure agreement, could mean a job for life, or at least a job for as long as I wanted one.
  6. Sounds like the stand out candidate then. Stands out for the wrong reasons, but stand out non the less.
  7. I suspect he is realizing he’s been had. Someone at the club may be saying things to certain people, that are being taken at face value, only not turning out the way they were told. Hope I’m wrong, but the whole scale changes that are going to transform the club, are looking very unlikely.
  8. Philips has his first pro contract kicking in soon, so hopefully we can let him prosper in the first team and benefit from that, rather than him going off to a premier league club now to cut his teeth.
  9. Glad you left him in piece and not in peace. You are an S away from being the hardest poster on this forum. Good job I wasn’t there to hit him over the head with his stale bread cake and leave him in pieces too, not to mention, chips in his teeth. 😂
  10. I can’t really be misguided, as I haven’t stated whether I agree or disagree with the actual event. I am pretty neutral about it to be honest. My comment was referring to the feedback (negative and positive) in the daily mail and how people of importance were unlikely to have read it.
  11. It is highly unlikely that anyone of importance will have read the comments, so no need to worry too much about it. Like anything, there will always be a minority who will try to paint a negative picture on everything and vice versa.
  12. Putting the rivalry to one side for a second, it is criminal that this should be allowed. Even allowing for the fact that this is our local rivals, it still makes me angry. We were victims too and are still in a terrible situation, due to the powers that be allowing this sort of thing to happen. Football has sold it's soul, as we are sure to see the next club go down the same path in the not too distant future. We have the likes of Bassini and Ken Anderson taking on clubs, despite their previous issues that the powers that be are aware of, so this sort of thing, is simply attracting the chancers and hangers on waiting in the wings, ready to pounce.

  14. A bad start next season and I think the fans will turn. I can hear the taunts of USA already, when derby day arrives.
  15. Their owners are beginning to make the Chicken farmers look good.
