  1. It’s one contract that they have run down and risk losing him for free, that may well turn out to be a blessing.
  2. Looking back on these predictions, we are far worse than most of us thought.
  3. Just a thought that got me through the. night, when I should be sleeping and not thinking about the team. Our false nine has hurt us bad enough, but not as much, as our false manager.
  4. The one positive today, Mowbray wasn’t slumped in his chair sulking, all of the second half. I wonder why?
  5. Exactly and I would love it to happen. Sorry to hear your health is suffering BTW.
  6. My late mate Brian scored that day. A true gentleman of the game and all round brilliant guy. RIP Pilky.
  7. I know Duncan would do that tomorrow, but not a chance Waggott. Despite some posters suggesting otherwise, he would be out of his depths and frightened to death.
  8. Keeping as many people as they can happy and therefore still turning up and spending money, is the name of the game. Everyone (Longsiders apart) who posts regularly on here love Rovers, but some have quite understandably stood up and questioned, what has gone on since Venky's turned up. Some have done more than others to get rid of the chancers that came with them and some are now accepting the latest platitudes being spewed out by people like Waggott. Until these owners have gone and been replaced by someone as passionate as most fans on here, the club will continue to suffer. It is the level of suffering that is debatable, nothing else, as there are definitely still chancers and crooks hidden in the shadows.
  9. I like the least bit and given the number of posts you have made, I take it you are an old newbie, if you get my drift.
  10. I watched it on Rovers TV due to being abroad and it was obvious something had gone on too. The camera crew panned over to the motionless Mowbray a few times too, including after each goal. I hope we went to the dentist on Wednesday, to remove the tooth that must have been causing the pained look on his face.
  11. It is posted on here a few times now, but to save you searching, here it is again.
  12. Exactly my feelings. In addition to that, I was very impressed with what Mowbray said when he first arrived at the club and his early efforts, bringing some stability to the club were brilliant. I think back to little things like trying to persuade Connor Mahoney to stay and the statement when asked about why he took the job " This is Blackburn Rovers" was very impressive. His efforts in keeping us up to were fantastic and turning around what Coyle had done, was simply amazing. Like may others, I have been hugely disappointed with the death spirals we go on and as a one off, I would accept that it was bad luck, or some other reason for the odd wobble. Dalglish suffered one, all those years ago. It is that more than anything else, that has me thinking he is stubborn and will not listen to an alternative view. We can do very little as fans, so having a go, when it appears things are not as harmonious as they should be, is what it is all about in my opinion, be it on forums like this, or at the stadium. We have a right of reply, as we have been here years in many cases not the 5 that the current manager has.
  13. I think he was a bit wound up with some handbags in the box when we had a corner. Wharton seemed to get a bit of it too and great that they both retaliated with a goal.
  14. With some of the responses on here, I was starting to wonder if I had miss read Mowbray's body language and facial expressions, but given the admission he made about player aggression, perhaps not.
  15. It’s brave of Johnson to say what he did on Twitter. When I first saw it, I questioned it’s validity, I was that surprised at seeing it. The fact that he was prepared to say it in response to a fans post, shows how angry he must have been. I find it hard to accept that he and the other players, sat back and accepted it and did not have a go at the manager about it. The boss is not always right.
  16. For those suggesting that i posted that Mowbray has disrespected the club, here are my words, taken from the post above Please remember this Tony and show some respect for the club It may appear to some that I am saying he disrespected the club, but I didn't. I asked that he show some respect, which is a totally different thing.
  17. I will never understand that some fans simply want to defend the player/manager, no matter what. Rovers fans have put with enough crap over the last few years and as we saw yet again, we had the manger clearly having a strop at something. If it was the fans then he should hang his head in shame. If it was a result of the players lashing out at half time, which seems to be most likely, then he needs to accept that they were right and perhaps start to listen to advice, from others. The tweet from Bradley Johnson is rather telling and perhaps it wasn't just him who had a go. The rest probably behind closed doors, but fair play to Johnson for first of all, doing what the manager asked, despite the absurdity, but also having the balls to question it, in the public domain.
  18. Maybe this is the reason for the mood Mowbray was in for the second half. There is no way not a single player has said anything about this, when the player himself has put this out. PDF.pdf
  19. If nothing else, this division certainly provides plenty of interest and no shortage of drama.
  20. Maybe I wrong here, but did he not look like a man who was totally fed up last night and given that there was not even the slightest flicker of emotion, when we scored any of the goals, does that not come across as strange? I have reacted more, when our arch rivals down the road have scored than he did last night. Something was not right there in my opinion.
  21. Things may well have changed, since Coyle was parachuted in at the last minute to pull the rug from under the feet of Warnock. As that was due to them thinking he was cheaper and doing the same job, perhaps he has a point. Of course things could be different now, but I somehow doubt it.
  22. Maybe the manager has got issues, as there is no way the manager should be displaying body language like he did, especially in the second half, when we turned it around. If I was his boss, I would have him in first thing this morning to check out his health and of that was okay, I would want an explanation. In Tony's words, "This is Blackburn Rovers". Please remember this Tony and show some respect for the club and the fans.
