Not even played the first one. Might get both...

Anyone know of any good detective-type games going on PS4 or Steam? Currently finishing Return of the Obra Dinn, with Telling Lies next on my list. Want to build up a small collection while I have some spare dosh pre-baby.

Ah, post-deadline day medicals, I agree. But deals in the main are completed 'subject to medical' all the time. Medicals are reasonably often a reason deals fall through with everything else having been signed, aren't they? Or have I got mixed up somewhere?
-
Ahhh thank you. Can't find much here ?
-
Only Olympiakos connection I can find is him turning them down at 16yo to join Slavia Sofia?
-
The overwhelming majority of deals are done that exact way.

Luca Toni?

'Not much better than Bell' is still better than Bell.

I absolutely love Cloughie, and I was born in 1991! What a man to miss out on.

He should've kept up his 'treat women like shit in public' schtick, he could've been President by now. But he was a great pundit. I liked his half-hour tactics show after SuperSunday too.

Cardiff (H) - Saturday 3rd October 2020

That game proved to me that we're only missing a defence-splitter like Dack from being genuine playoff contenders this year. -
I thought Martin O'Neill was a good pundit at the 2014 World Cup for ITV, often putting know-nowt World Cup winners (Cannavaro and Vieira) in their places. Memorably: 'I've not won the World Cup, and Fabio reckons I've never played. But I've won 2 European Cups, how many have you superstars won?'

Ironically makes them an even better fit for us. Football owners with morals, who prioritise family values.
-
After being somewhat spoiled by Gary Neville for a few years, I find it difficult to watch many pundits now. I like Souness, and always enjoyed Salgado on Revista de La Liga.

The plan at left back should, imo, be to get in an experienced left back (Douglas, Cunningham etc) that can pass the torch to Lewis Thompson. Bell should strictly be a backup at this point, albeit he's played better by virtue of the goalkeeper acting as a 3rd centre back, freeing the full backs to push up to 'defend in midfield' rather than focus on defense.

Not a phrase I thought I'd ever read. What a plank he was.

My grandad would pass a ball quicker than Walton and he died in 2004!

Not doubting it, but what actually is a 'homophobic gesture'?
-
What a difference he's made in the 'quarterback' position. I think it's the new Tugay hair. Definitely the hair.

Are you two the same person?

Sorry to be a pendant, but a haiku is 575, that's 585 *dons tin hat*

Dack would work in the Rothwell role imo. We can see his effectiveness in bursting forward and playing the final ball, as well as finishing, but we also know he can keep the ball. I'd propose a flexible 433/4231 with Dack in the thick of it: Kaminski Nyambe Lenihan Ayala JRC (bear with me) Johnson Dack Holtby Dolan Armstrong Chapman When attacking, either fullback can support the midfield. When defending, we have 3 players pacey enough to get back AND capable of bursting on a counterattack. Scope is there to change where needed to a more direct 442 by replacing either winger with Gallagher.

Rovers vs. Wycombe - 19th Sept, 3pm

I do wonder if the newly-found 'quarterback' role for Holtby ought to be Buckley's? -
