  1. I'm always up for a game when you're happy
  2. Lee Mack after a waiter corrected his french grammar: 'It's not feminine, it's an egg custard. I want to eat it, not f*** it!
  3. Not quite, the dates match to a week prior, but didn't exactly hinder us carrying on ?
  4. Can go public now, Mrs E is pregnant was my inspiration for this thread, but ofc we couldn't tell anyone til the first scan.
  5. AVERAGING?! Fuck me, what's his longest?
  6. Handicap down to 16 today, broke 90 for the first time in 3 years!
  7. Just finished The Last Dance (finally). Previously, the extent of my basketball knowledge was gleaned only from Space Jam and I thought Michael Jordan was incredible on that little bit. Watching The Last Dance, there's no doubt in my mind, he's the greatest athlete that's ever lived.
  8. The famous 'wine metaphor' has helped so many friends of mine understand who they are. It's a wholesome show in almost every way, right down to two men finding love in a normal way and just being a couple without having to battle for it. I also learned what folding meant re: cooking
  9. Interesting documentary about the Chicago Bulls and the roles of Jordan and Rodman, called 'The Last Dance'. FYI, Schitt's Creek now available on All4 as well as Netflix, well worth a watch as an uplifting light comedy series.
  10. Hole in one! 3rd hole at Oak Royal, Withnell.
  11. You should! Really enjoyed a spoiled walk
  12. Put simply, football cannot return while stadiums are empty. Can't have Burnley being given such a weighty advantage!
  13. Played at Oak Royal. Gone back to my old clubs, too. Couldn't settle with Cobra F7s so back to my Ping Zing 2s
  14. Doesn't work when wife's a teacher: 'Well do it again until you get it right.'
  15. Playing golf today! On my todd, like, but can't wait for my tee time
  16. I look forward to his Wipes, always so well written.
  17. Last season of Schitt's Creek available on Netflix from today. Really recommend it as a light comedy that manages to be 'real' rather than full of pure sitcom tropes. Not 'must watch', but well-written and easy to watch, with great comic leads in Eugene Levy and Catherine O'Hara.
  18. I'm thrilled to bits! Don't think I'll risk playing with a mate just yet, but I'll ask Mrs E to caddy for me, or if she wants to learn to play herself
  19. I seem to remember an Italian sounding kid being prolific. Rafael?
  20. Watched AfterLife on Netflix. I'm not remotely a fan of Gervais' comedy, but AfterLife is a brilliant and brutally honest portrait of grieving imo.
  21. It was, and as a big fan of I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue, I'm disappointed in myself for it!
