Well they mention a political party with little context aside from being an apparent insult based on political belief in a match thread. Sorry, but it's in the guidelines. As DE mentioned, we'd rather nip it in the bud than let it become precedent and cause arguments that aren't to do with football in a football thread.

Racism 'in football', discuss away. Burnley Tories - yes, it will be censored. Thanks for highlighting it, I've not heard it or read it before as a phrase.

Had the posts not mentioned politics, they'd have stayed, I enjoyed them. Forum rules have always been clear re: politics even before the recent tribalistic trend. Now that politics is so divisive, it's even more important it doesn't spread onto here. Sorry fellas.

We've all got better things to worry about fellas, even on here let alone in real life with ACTUAL worries. We're Blackburn Rovers. If you get upset because someone uses part of our name instead of... erm... part of our name, you won't win a fandom award.

January transfer window 2020

And better than most Brits do. -
Red card was harsh, but I'm glad we've learned to use a bit of shithousery after it's been used against us so often. Given how Mowbray was a proper hard centre back in the Terry Butcher mold as a player, I'm baffled he's so nicey-nicey in his gameplan. We should try to emulate Hughesy's bully boys.

Hopefully our topsy turvy season has started topsing again. No doubt it'll turve again at the end of February... In all seriousness, checking the score during a break at work, saw the score and initially resigned myself to the fact we'd been battered, such was my faith in this team. I'm utterly elated!

It won't be, this comment is rather less antagonistic than your last one. -

At my first game, the ball had gone in the net twice and I asked loudly 'Why aren't WE cheering daddy?' Think it's the closest I got to being put up for adoption. -
Anyone played 'Return of the Obra Dinn'? Been recommended by a mate who played it on PC (top 10 games of 2018 by many accounts), but it now has a PS4 version. Still on RDR2 currently! Only get to play a few hours a month (when my days off coincide with the Mrs being at work), and it's STILL amazing imo.

Getting Rhodes back would make sense in Dack's absence. He necessitates 442, which Dack struggles with. Might work if Gallagher plays the Gestede role, with Holtby and Armstrong supplying the ammo into the box either onto Rhodes or for Gally to knock down. -

French left back... 34yo Clichy? -
The only thing that's certain (whether it's genuinely pertinent now or not) is that the ACV means the club's options are restricted re: immediate sale of the ground. I'm absolutely certain the idea has at least arisen.

Even into the Kean years, Pedersen regularly ran upto a full kilometre more than our other players. The assertion that he was either lazy or gave up is nonsense. His form certainly got patchy, but so did everyone's post Sam. In the Sam years he was employed more defensively, but he was clearly more attack/support minded. Even judging his time here 'as a whole', the fact you're so scathing in the context of the decade we've just had is a it baffling. The fact is he was a major cog in Hughesy's machine and deserves the recognition that comes with that. Compared to others who played under Hughes thru Kean (Emerton, Nelsen, Roberts, Dunn, Reid, Bunn, Samba, Olsson), I don't think Pedersen actually declined in form all that much.

Still the only English club to win major domestic trophies in 3 different centuries.

If you swapped Hotlby and Rothwell round, that midfield couls excite me. All can pick a pass, all can get stuck in protecting the defence, all can maraud forward. I'd tell Travis to sit back and protect, have Rothwell and Johnson go closing down and pushing forward.

Sky's camera work is shocking. Missing so much live action because of replays of nothing in particular. -
Best Rovers Festive Memory?

Flitcroft, right? Mine's an odd one, but I absolutely loved the famous 'Santa Cruz is coming to town' Wigan away game. I know we lost but that day was the most fun I've had as an away supporter. -

Because I won't get a ST until my dad stops his ST boycott, which will be when Venkys go. We pick at least one game a season though. -

Sounds about right for the kind of saddo that apparently screenshots websites for his twitter account. You'd think being a journalist/blogger of some sort he'd be able to generate his own content. It's actually quite hilarious how obsessed he seems to be with trying to paint the site in a particular light while driving web traffic here as a result. -
Roque and Julio Santa Cruz (did he ever play?)

Personally it has to be either Rhodes or Mulgrew. Rhodes for the obvious reasons. Mulgrew because I think he was more important to us in L1 than people really recognise. His international quality at the back kept us calm, his goals were immeasurably important and most importantly: he could've abandoned us when we got relegated but didn't. Same goes for Graham. That kind of loyalty in dark times can't be bought.

I have a memory of Rio Ferdinand donning the blue and white halves in February 2006...
