You all do a brilliant job, and I'm pleased for Phil that his efforts are so well received
-
I think Wharton's problem is he's never really beefed up despite being a decent tackler and passer, nor is he the tallest or fastest. Bit too much of an 'all-rounder' for our level imo. Although I remain surprised he didn't get more game time in L1.

How did you manage in every previous Summer window?
-
NOW it's a transfer window! Welcome back Chadster! Agree with your analysis there. Liam Cooper is a really solid suggestion and not one I think we've been linked to either.

And some members above need to stop acting like utter opinions.

But you can't censor me telling Stuart what to think dammit!

It's the thing I'm struggling with. Better in the flesh, but it doesn't quite feel right. The halves and the grey, I'm ok with now, but that green trim will make or break for many.
-
This is something Rovers Trust are trying to push, to more regularly use the halves as 'our brand' on away kits. This one at least demonstrates how it can be done creatively without solid halves being a requirement.
-
Was that because you fit into a sponsorless junior kit?
-
The equivalent of 'asking for a mate', you dirty boy. No wonder you work out of Malta

As you say, we'll probably just end up disagreeing to ever more extreme extents. But I do hope you consider why such movements spring up. I don't believe it is ever through a sense of entitlement, but because the world treats certain demographics worse than others, often without just cause. Back to transfers (phew).

I bet you think Feminism is only about women, too. BlackLivesMatter is ABOUT all lives mattering.
-
I've never heard someone over 40 use the word Millennial without being sarcastic, however. It's what that word means to them (rather like snowflake).
-
'Millennial' is just this generation's middle-aged people's attempt to talk down and ridicule the societal progress this generation's youth want. Imagine thinking a movement to stop systematic racism against non-white (#BlackLivesMatter) and stop unnecessary sexualisation and harassment of women (#MeToo) are worthy of ridicule. Another bit of irony is believing Millennials are 'entitled', because they want to be able to afford to pay rent and eat rather than choose. Both things that were handed to the baby-boomer generation on a plate thanks to entering the ECC/EU. But now they want to leave so that we can't have it. No doubt I'll be the same when I'm old and grumpy in 20 years too. Human nature to not like change.

Might there be an element of rather than 'blaming Raya' in terms of saving the ball, maybe they believe a more vocal, organising goalkeeper would solve a few defensive problems in one go: Goalkeeper (rather than defender) can see more of the pitch = defence more organised = more focused closing down and blocks = fewer saves necessary and more possession gained. We always had a knack of looking disorganised last season even when playing well. Meanwhile through Magloire and loaning AdCityBoy we'll have more pace and height available at centre back. Even more important if going with a back 3.

Third kit rumour?

I honestly don't think they've done it since Santa Cruz in 2007.

Rovers in Netflix football series

Also the shortest distance travelled by the FA Cup between consecutive winners, isn't it? Hole I'th Wall to Leamington Rd. -
Initially repulsed, already growing on me, however...
-
It's the green I'm unsure on. Really like the modern twist on our halves, but think it'd look so much better if the trim were navy or black.
-
Why didn't Huddersfield have a sponsor that year? Will be a trivia question in time.
-
That's exactly what he's saying.

Yet Sterling looking after his mother is ignored in favour of 'being ostentatious and obscene' without evidence. Funny that. Look at the state of this 'journalism' ffs: https://www.newstatesman.com/politics/sport/2018/12/all-times-newspaper-coverage-raheem-sterling-helped-fuel-racism

And the difference in angle is because of what? Not their team, not their age, not their position...

He's got a long name, he's got a long naaaaaaame...
