  1. Could you imagine the havoc with VAR? Although I'd like someone scoring an own goal to be greeted by the Benny Hill music...
  2. After a bit more thought, I'd quite like Dancing on your Grave by Motorhead. Can't beat a bit of Lemmy!
  3. Wouldn't want it at Ewood, but it was fun that day! Wasn't that the year Peter Kay made it No1?
  4. Thunderstruck is 32yo. Even older are Rovers classics like Final Countdown and Wild Rover, should we move on from them too? If you genuinely had to Google Enter Sandman, that's on you.
  5. But it's not OURS, it's the England team's. Otherwise we might as well nick Blue Moon from City before games. I'd much rather have something that's ours for victories. Any of Enter Sandman, The Boys are Back in Town, or Simply the Best all get my votes from the classic rock genre. And everyone knows those as well.
  6. In keeping with Thunderstruck on entry, we should play Back in Black when we win, especially if we're intending to aim for playoffs or better. WE'RE BACK!
  7. YES! My mantra when I devised the original marketing prospectus on behalf of RT was: 'The club must make it as easy as possible to support Rovers.'
  8. If JDT reckons we'll be playing him in at least half our matches, including subs and as RB cover, then it's worth it. It's not like we're being forced to loan an unknown quantity. WE are opting into the conditions of loaning a player proven at this level.
  9. Causes Drogba to lose the ball CRUNCH into Anelka CRUNCH into Lampard. Remember it vividly, wonderful debut. Best Rovers debut since Emerton and Amoruso Vs Wolves (5-1).
  10. There's tinkering, and there's a clear plan. So far every game has seen a clear plan implemented. After about 5 mins of each half, you can work out what we're doing.
  11. To whom do we give plaudits for a great end to this little story?
  12. Completely agree, I was DESPERATE for him to score. But, perhaps even better, he made sure two of his wasted chances became chances for others which were then slotted in (Dolan's and Markanday's).
  13. Captain Dack having a quiet game. Keeps coming deep for the ball, but still has a magic touch here and there. Would love any of Dack, Vale, or Markanday to score (fantastic touch from the latter to create the shot that hit the post).
  14. YES! Then he got it back with a 40-yarder Vs Reading. Still looks odd seeing that goal with short hair!
  15. Not quite the same, but I remember Henry scoring a genuinely fabulous goal in off the bar after 1-2 with Fabregas before he left Arsenal. When he was subbed off, all 4 sides of Ewood stood and applauded.
  16. Honestly, if it had been Big Sam still in charge at the time, I might have believed it.
  17. Do I remember he actually took a while to really bed in properly, ie: For other players to get up to his brain speed? I seem to remember a lot of 'Tugay passing to his invisible friend' up to the end of the Worthy Cup season.
  18. Nearest we've got to a humiliation like that since is probably an FA Cup match under Hughesy where we (PL) lost 4-1 to Coventry City (Champ) courtesy of the Maltese Miniscule Machine Michael Mifsud.
  19. It just hurts when you catch feelings for a loan player 😭😭😭💙🤍💙🤍
