  1. Have to confess my favourite thing about the film is during Summer Lovin', during John Travolta's bits. There's some bloke dancing who's not even involved in the conversation dancing to the song about 50yds away.and it cracks me up whenever I see it.
  2. This is the issue. At £429, I'm just waiting around for freebies and cheap tix (like the cup game tomorrow). At £200-250, they'd have my money every season.
  3. We wouldn't need the PL cash anyway for this. Even if we only add up to 12,000 STs at half this year's price, we only lose a relatively small amount in cash, probably made up by extra food and drink sales. Above that we're making more money.
  4. Food for thought. Last time there was a cost of living crisis, we sold 19,000 Season Tickets. Prices started at £199 (tenner a game). Why we can't do that again (start at £230) and get folk in the ground (y'know, to buy food and drink and merch every other week), I don't know. https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/4542583.blackburn-rovers-chairman-bringing-football-people/
  5. Brilliant idea. Did it just come to you? Like St Paul on the road to domestos?
  6. We're not expecting 46 goals from Trav. Or indeed, half our goal tally.
  7. Totally irrelevant to what he was saying, but do carry on.
  8. EIEIEIO Up the football league we go! When we win promotion, this is what we'll sing! We are Rovers! We are Rovers! Tomasson's our King!
  9. To this day, I believe that Henley had it but was thrown in too soon and ruined. Needed another year or two loaned to League 1/2.
  10. I think the players mentioned will be picked for the Hartlepool game. As we're in uncharted territory (obviously JDT has more clue than me), I'd rather prioritise the league for now to build up a solid base of points. Target the FA Cup if we want a cup run.
  11. I'd love to see us try Brereton-Diaz up front in place of Gally, with Dolan on the right.
  12. He's right though. Anyone in recruitment will tell you that your CV is just a list of where you've worked before and little else. The key will have been explaining his impact on each role and results gained, when interviewing. Malmö and Denmark stand out as obvious roles where he excelled though.
  13. Given that it was Buckley's breakout season, I think it's a bit harsh. I had him and Trav (alongside Kaminski and Lenihan) as first names on the teamsheet.
  14. A terrific video from Burnley's shirt sponsors:
  15. Also has the advantage of making EVERYONE match ready for the first team games if needed. So simple and yet so brilliant.
  16. Note to self: Advising the recommended course of action that has been reiterated multiple times in many threads over many years is 'an astonishingly poor attitude'. Gotcha. I prefer to think of it as two wrongs don't make a right. So instead of responding to what you perceive to be a trolling post (thereby giving it more oxygen), just report it.
  17. Is it the same Henderson who was a right gobshite at Shrewsbury?
  18. 'We considered loaning Sammie back to League One' Translation: 'We're such crap judges of a player, we nearly shoved someone out the door who scored 4 in 10 when played in his proper position'.
  19. And yet you chose to post about it instead of reporting it. ALSO something we're not fond of.
