You can always rely on the Dingles to cheer up a sad week-end.

Good to see Mowbray applauding our away fans.

Fulham, dirtier than Luton?
It's more annoying as they have better players but are still resorting to diving and fouling.
Part of the game which unfortunately we don't have.

What about the loanees? I would say the same applies to them.
All footballers are mercenaries.
Some are very good and will give everything for their current team.
Some will look after their own interests.
Indeed it does as they have something to prove.

Wrong thread but this contract issue throws a side issue on today's game. Those players involved have one eye on greener grass no matter what they say and cannot perform 100% as a team unit.

Can't get my head round why at least ref not asked to look at it again on the screen. Its unanimous it was a penalty.
Can only think the VAR ref did not want to give Everton a penalty, there is no other reason.

Will Chelsea collapse without Abrahamovic and his money?
Chosen his words very carefully and, at the moment, he's sitting on the fence.

Games like today will build team confidence. QPR are a good team and we beat them without key players due to injuries. Should have been more than 1 0 but the team will know that and figure out how to improve their game. "Defense was solid" - not so in previous seasons.
-
Don't agree that Johnson had a good game. He should have scored when ball was pulled back to him and his delay in passing to Nyambe prevented a decent attack. Whether it resulted in Nyambe's injury is debatable.
-
Hadn't realised their keeper was subed at HT but in the first half he was one reason we didn't score twice. Good to see ball go in from Khadra's freekick, grateful first half keeper was off Decent game with outstanding effort but a bit more quality and alertness could have seen us winning easily. As said earlier Johnson took an age to pass to Nyambe and there was a couple of loose passes, one from a freekick, showing lack of attention.
I'll mention Dolan again as he had an outstanding game. Knew exactly what was around him on the pitch and good to see his gesture to BBNEND toward end of game.

I've only just noticed this is a 12:30 kick off 🤦♂️
My mind clock is all over the place. Crazy time.
2 0 (Pickering, Hedges) will do.

We see them practicing shots pre match and it looks impressive yet during games it rarely happens. Pickering had a good attempt last night that was blocked and Khadra had one narrowly missing top left. But that was it. No point practicing if we ain't using.
Hedges before Gallagher is a no brainer for me. He knows exactly what to do to get a permanent team place and must be eager to get the ball and show Gallagher what's needed.

And we thought last February was bad. Cant say I didnt see this coming. Young team with manager past his see by date.

We need a win against QPR on Saturday but how do we do that with no scorers?

We'll get nowhere while TM in charge. Sack him now I'd say

Is there a problem with the ball thats three occasions we cant lift it.

Just heard TMs comment about ref made decision with "a lot of thought" and he gave it "an hours time to see" what it looked like.
Has there been a lack of communication? "Game on" to me means game will be played as schedule but TM implies the ref was still thinking between 1230pm and 215pm. One to look out for in future pitch inspections, we'll have to wait for official one 45 minutes before KO. An example of EFL having no respect for fans imo.
