  1. Could someone please clarify how this "4 tickets per person" thing works?

If you go down initially can you get 4 tickets with 2 away stubs?

Or do you need 4 sets of 2 away stubs? huh.gif

each season ticket you use must have 2 away purchases recorded against it on the ticket office computer system.

And each person can only possess a maximum of four such cards...

Im in the que Monday morning to buy my 3!

  2. you dont see birmingham wasting £7.5 million on a player who cant last 18 months

cant remember what BF said, something along the lines of "this rangers shirt feels so good "

atleast we made £2 million on our badge kissing judas, you were practically trying to sell yours for 1/2 price and then bring in big mouth little legs

    'wasted' 7.5mill?

We paid 6.5 mill and got 5mill back.

I make that a paper loss of 1.5m. Not your asserted 7.5m.

  3. I couldnt get to the game last night, did they say anything about coach transport to dingleville?

Does anyone know if you can ring up for tickets or do you have to queue on the respective days when they are on sale?

    Cheers

The travel arrangements have not yet been confirmed and there is an announcement expected either today or tomorrow - in preparation for the match tickets to go on sale.

You can ring for tickets as normal, but must have the account numbers - they have advised they will be especially strict.

  4. Savage looked more of a threat in the first half than Ferguson did in 18 months. Thompson wasn't good but then he was never going to get the space he thrives on in a 5 man midfield. Not sure what Mokoena's best position is?

It'll be interesting to see who Hughes opts for in centre midfield against Boro. Savage likes getting forward, so I wonder if playing him alongside Tommo would be too attack minded.

BTW: The commentators on the radio were saying that Tommo stormed down the tunnel on being subbed - did that really happen?

He took his time getting off the pitch and did disappear, not convinced he stormed but maybe Manchester Blue could see better from his perch....

He knew he had played badly.

  5. Definitely announced it as the 'last' two away games.  Why that I don't know.  If anything it should be any two or more even but why pick the last two.  Unless as some have said the announcer was wrong but  he definiteley announced that.

Agreed, he did say last 2 away games,

Apparently he said that at half time, but not pre or post match.

We'll see when it goes on the website.... how many will have those two stubs? 500? If that. Would be a little strange.

  6. From what I could gather from the tannoy it is this:

Monday/Tuesday: ST holders who went to the last TWO away games - Portsmouth and Cardiff

    Wednesday: All ST holders

Any remaining tickets will go on sale to anyone on the database.

One ticket per ST with a maximum of 4 per person

    Adults: £18

    Junior: £9

    OAP: £11.50

Disappointed those of us who bothered to turn up for Bournemouth, Cardiff replay and Colchester haven't been rewarded for doing so. I think this is wrong, if one attends the less attractive games one should get first shout for the big fixtures.

Rovervision said full details are on the official site but I can't see anything yet.

    Paul

    It was any away games.

  7. Would of course mean that I wouldnt be guaranteed a ticket, despite going to 5 aways so far, and having a season ticket.

Because I didnt go to the Bournemouth game.

But still, Im sure the club will announce (cock it up) sooner or later.

My guess is that they will go for the seemingly standard ST holder with 2 away purchases this season.

Stu, you seem hell bent on going to this match. If you do get a ticket your in for a 'unique' experience. I went back in the 80's to a Manx cup match with my Dad - Big Stevie - and even he was scared. I've never seen anything like it. Blokes wielding baseball bats, bricks through the train window............It's like planet of the apes !

thats interesting mr hair because not to long ago, on this very board somebody was telling me it was the Blackburn fans who used to regularly turn over the Burnley fans in the hey day of football hooliganism

He didnt say who won!! wink.gif

    I dont believe you.

No way on this earth was big steve scared.

Nothing scares the iron man laugh.gif

NB - "big steve" was my PE teacher!!!

  9. Would of course mean that I wouldnt be guaranteed a ticket, despite going to 5 aways so far, and having a season ticket.

Don't see why on the basis of what I just posted:

I do think the regular away support (ST holder or not) and those who went to Cardiff should get first shout.

I'd have thought 5 aways qualified as regular away support.

Can't say I'm too worried, anyone who really wants a ticket and makes the effort will get one. If that means queing all night or a long morning on the phone that's what I shall do.

    Sorry Paul.

I misread something I thought you put - ive done it a few times this week, must really stop trying to catch glimpses at work! Especially while the boss is in.

  11. he will resume the captaincy(presumably) of one of the biggest clubs in the world rather than playing for a poor provincial team who's support starts leaving fifteen minutes before the game ends.

For someone who clearly is at wetting pants stage with this you appear not to pay much attention.....

Rangers official site "Ferguson doesnt want captaincy back"

    Ho hum.

  12. One of the selling points Rovers stress when trying to tempt people to buy season tickets is the fact they are in a privelidged position re: cup tickets. It's going to be season ticket holders before non season ticket holders regardless of how many away stubs the latter have.

Sorry Hasta - I actually meant Season Ticket holders with stubs - it doesnt read that way, my mistake
