  1. Seems we have them sorta contained. Lots of passing from Burnley but no real threat and Kaminski hasn't been put to the test. Has to keep an eye on their wingers!
  2. 15 mins late but stream up and running now. Had a weird dream last night where Mola scored the winning goal. Woke up and thought "Rubbish! He probably won't play!". As he is playing I hope my dream comes true. COYB!!
  3. He secured 3 points at home, six in a row at home, we’re second in the league…and you’re moaning?
  4. Another 3 points at home! According to lancs.live this is the first time since 94/95 we’ve managed six home wins in a row. 20 games in and we are 2nd….absolutetly unbelievable if you ask me. Don’t really care if the football is boring and unorganized from time to time as long as the 3 points keep coming. And incredibly enough at this part of the season no other fans have had those coming as often as us! Onwards and upwards! COYB!
  5. Broughton was at Bodø Glimt in Norway and knows about building over time. He was a part of a really solid team and they have declined after he left. We need to give these guys some time to clean up the mess they inherited. In Norway Bodø Glimt went straight from promotion to winning the league in a couple of years. I think we are seeing results way beyond the original plan and just hope it keeps going. Let's build over time and make sure that when we go up we'll stay there. Look at Potter ..from Sweden to Brighton to Chelsea...and a poor team in Sweden as well! We might have gold with horrible owners but we really need to give these guys some time...it might turn out ok.
  6. Perhaps I’m a bit «off», but I only really care about Burnley when it comes to the two derbies. As of right now we are first and second in the league, and if Burnley beats all our other rivals in the top six I don’t mind. Fingers crossed we end the season in the top six, get some valuable play-off experience and make a real push in a season or two. And yeah yeah….every season it’s «this season is there for the taking» so it should be a posibility in any season. The one hope I have for the future is promotion to PL, stay up for at least one season and make us attractive to other buyers thus shedding our inept owners. Back to the league: I follow results for QPR, Sheffield U, Norwich and Watford to see how we are doing. Seems we’re doing ok at the moment!
  7. After 4 straight wins we come down to earth with an off day to put it mildly. Brush it off, move on and get a win on saturday.
  8. Win! Again! And a perfect one as well: Away from home, no yellow cards causing suspension, no injuries, clean sheet, Kaminsky not really tested, good runout for Ayala and Hyam awesome again, showing confidence and trust in the manager….Adam Wharton makes me feel the same buzz I had with Duff. I’m using the table as wallpaper on my phone at least untill tuesday. This feels better than last season. COYB!!!
  9. Still 1-0, Kaminsky not put to the test today, Ayala on….I think JDT got this.
  10. Should’ve kept Gally on and taken off Brereton. He needs a rest.
  11. In other news: Newcastle showing the importance of bottomless pockets in the PL. Third in the table as it stands.
  12. And Adam will be up for it and available on tuesday….if there is a game on
  13. We just need to keep them from scoring. Remember we are away from home.
  14. What is it with the digs at Dolan and Travis? We’re 1-0 up away from home and shared top of the league with Burnley woth young acafemy prospect Adam Wharton firing on all cylinders. Moan all you want - I’m truly enjoying this as long as it lasts. Edit: I’ll leave the typos. A bit tipsy now.
  15. Like I said before the game started: this squad is good enough to beat Hull and that is all that matters today. Good to see someone else than Brereton score. No good being to dependent on him for goals and he will tire. He has started in all our games so far this season and put in a shift every time I’ve seen him. He deserves a day off. Hyam and Adam Wharton - I’m lost for words. Haven’t been this excited about Rovers squad since Hughes.
  16. Yes - until the finals where Belgium just might be…
