I would be happy with Van Den Berg, two solid seasons with Preston under his belt. You’d imagine Liverpool would include something in the deal (financial penalties) that means he has to play the majority of the games. Who would he displace? Wharton or Ayala?

From my view in the JW lower, it seemed Dack was keen to get on the pitch and was warming up every 10/15 minutes (I can’t say he was sulking). I think he’ll have a part to play this season, but he won’t be as vital as he was a few years ago.
