  1. It really is a confidence thing. The way he celebrated the second was almost nonchelant, as if there was no other outcome. Amazing to think that a couple seasons ago you'd expect him to fall over his own legs.
  2. I wish i was as mature as this lad at that age,i wont go into details but it would have changed my life. Love the kid and you have to remember he was rejected by PNE, so it must be amazing to be a first team regular for us. Also loved his graft for that goal, BB is slagging off Buckly but gets a goal on a plate thanks ito this guy,.
  3. Well, we only have one and it seems he is off. So really we need two.
  4. Like the way you have omitted the other 5 mil spent on another striker. Downing was not our best player, but was good first season yes, second season? Ayala was injured first season and so far been good this - when fit. Brereton took 3 seasons to finally come good - not a good way to spend 7mil when we needed strenghtening around the team. Im thrilled he is starting to come good but this is not my point.
  5. Funds only became available for Brereton when we had already tried to sign Freeman, Bamford, Assombalonga and Celina?
  6. IMO - We had a transfer kitty and TM as always likes to collect attackers, end of story. When really, we need that money spent elsewhere.
  7. No, it was made clear that agents were summoned to sell him.
  8. So why the bids/liks to other players that didnt fit the young/english remit? That summer?
  9. It might be a sub-remit, but Fenni was adamantly saying its a Balaji signing, Any club will look to buy young as an investment, this is not what he said.
  10. If Balaji, or any of them really cared, they would make a push in so many directions at the club. You're telling me that their remit is to sign youngh Enlgish players? So Ayala, Mulgrew, Bennett, Graham, Holtby, Johnson, that fits in right?
  11. Still waiting on this evidence., Guess there is none? Who told you you this tolroppe?
  12. Just show me some evidence that BB was a Balaji signing and i'll shut up.
  13. I give up, there is nothing to suggest this was a balaji signing. Yet those other signings were linked to us. You 12 or what?
  14. You're talking balls dude, i can bring up coumltess news links - you cannot bring up anything.
  15. It was a last minute purchase after Forest hired an agent to offload BB. We were offered him, we didnt scout him.
  16. Why did we bid for all the player i mentioned previously? Bamford, not English or young, the QPR lad, not young, Assomballonga, not youing. Was well publisied. We ended up with this guy.
  17. I really dont get this line - that is was a Balaji signing. Which, btw, you are claiming that to be fact when their is zero evidence. Another example of somebody saying some random rumour and it then becoming fact. Did Balaji previously know about Brereton and really wanted him? That summer, we were linked to Assombalonga, Patrick Bamford, and that QPR attacking mid, for starters. TM had the money buring a hole in his pocket. Wages as he claimed stopped most of those, Deadline day he spunks 7 mil on BB on a loan to perm. I dont think this was Balaji wanting a particular player, more like we had a bit of a warchest in the FFP cycle and TM was desperate to spend it. Of course, he decided to spend it on one player instead of addressing other key areas by spreading it around a bit.
  18. At this level, 5mil and 7 mil strikers should be tearing this league apart. We have had to wait 3 years for BB to get anywhere near being good, and SG is a converted 6 foot winger. People can call Dack and AA all day long, but wasting that money on those two is criminal.
  19. Roverite, let me give you an example. You think we have played a blinder by selling our assets. Millwalls record signing is 1 million. Yes, 1 million. Do we finish much better than them in most seasons? Its a complete mismanagement of funds, and a stupid transfer policy that got us in this position. Yet you're calling it a genius move to sell off our training ground?
  20. Played a blinder? Are you on mind-altering drugs?
  21. Nah, this is Lenihans level, he never making the step up.
  22. Lenihan thinks he could get a prem gig? Thinks highly of himself lol. Those Sheff Utd rumours of a couple seasons back have got him giddy.
  23. Well, actually, you said this: I have mention how several United supporters friends want them to play. Which makes no sense at all.
