  1. Exactly what I would have done. Blimey, I agree with Chaddy.
  2. Yeah just seen its 3 at the back - apparently. I don't know, we have Davenport available who could replace Travis, possibly even that new loanee, and then we have that Garett that impressed me a lot in preseason with his biting tackles. I worry about Buckley there.
  3. Don't get Buckley at RB, but not surprised, this is Mowbray after all. Why not give Pike a shot? Even if not, Travis played RB at u23 level a lot so surely he would be more logical than Buckley?
  4. I don't think many are doubting he was poor for us. Heck, there would have been an outcry should he have signed this apparent extension offered to him. That said, I always follow our departures, at least in the beginning to see how they're doing and Luton fans love him. Early days of course, and I'm sure they will quickly realise his flaws once they go on a bit of a bad run. Sunderland fans have liked what they've seen from Evans too. We all know he can play when he wants - but of course, in true Cory-style, he has just got injured again.
  5. Tragic - far too young! This guy had me in tears on so many occasions.
  6. Yes he was - but how much of that is down to him and how much is it down to being utilised/man-managed poorly? Was a wingback at Fleetwood and then stuck at LB here. Gone to Luton and is now wingback again and seemingly doing well (so far).
  7. For Luton, Bell plays as a wingback in a 3-5-2 system. He has impressed their fans in all 3 games so far, being slated as a 'big improvement' on the player he replaced in the team.
  8. This is why you cannot trust wiki: Celtic are apparently interested in this player but have not yet signed him. Except he has if you read the players wiki which has obviously been edited by a fan: Giorgos Giakoumakis (Greek: Γιώργος Γιακουμάκης; born 9 December 1994) is a Greek professional footballer who plays as a striker for Glasgow Celtic and the Greek national football team. He signed for Glasgow Celtic and told Big Ange tae get the disco lights on , he also has a strong dislike towards the queen and rangers Giorgos can't wait to get down to his local Lidl in Tollcross and sample the delights of Greek Week; his favourite is the Gyros pizza. Giakoumakis has always wanted to play for The Glasgow Celtic and even came out to say that his idol is current player kyogo furuhashi. Giorgos was born in castlemilka in Greece
  9. They have liked him so far. But that will wear thin once the injuries rack up.
  10. Hughton has won all 7 games played against us as manager. Plus Grabban has scored 8 goals against us in his last 7 games against us.
  11. Holtby wasn't complete dross, just didn't do enough. Don't think his heart was in it - especially after his wife gave birth back in Germany. I think his plan was always to go back there. TM makes out it was a club decision to not offer a new contract, but I'm not so sure. Holtby probably already stated his desire to leave. Bit harsh on Downing too, was good the first season and barely used the following - pointless bringing him back. The rest were deadwood and it was always clear they would have to drop down. Evans though, thought he might have been able to get another Championship club.
  12. Perhaps at 24, feels he should be a regular somewhere. If the case, I like that attitude rather than sitting on a decent contract and barely playing.
  13. Wonder why he turned down a new deal? Was seemingly starting to feature more for them.
  14. Yes, and that he has mostly played at L1 level. Good to see the opinion of TruRover, sounds promising.
  15. Re-read, there is a 'mostly' in there. 50 games in L1 and 13 in the prem. Hence, mostly played at L1 level.
  16. Horrible first name. Not sure on him. Never heard of him tbh but he seems to have played mostly at L1 level.
  17. Yeah but always injured around Xmas time according to their fans. We found that out too.
  18. Ayala has always been a top CB at this level, its just the injuries. Guess Boro got fed up with it in the end.
  19. Everything was geared up for last season to be our shot. Its quite obvious. He didn't just fail, he failed miserably. For that alone he should be gone. Cannot fathom how he is still here.
  20. Dion Dublin too. Samba played up front for us, as did Hendry (though Hendry actually started out his career as a striker).
