I was thinking of Toddy being Dack's personal"mentor"!

Oh,and by the way,. please don't rely on the Daily Mail's hatchet job

    Im sure you were ..

Dont really need to rely on the Daily Mail regarding Andy Todd ,its well documented elsewhere his major failings as a professional footballer.Ask Phil Brown ..

Since he's ignored his commitment twice, how thick is he? Does he think he can ignore it and it will go away?

If someone puts in a big offer at the end of the season or even in January, I don't think I'll be too disappointed now.

What sort of an influence will he be on all those young lads we've just signed?

His shelf-life is obviously going to be quite short. He's not going to be playing at a high level into his thirties is he?

(Pity Todd's not in the dressing room.)

A continuous run of top performances needed to even begin getting us back onside.

Aye Todd would be ideal in our dressing influencing all those young lads ..

Again, taking criticism about an INDIVIDUAL match and both managerial decisions and player performances that may have caused the INDIVIDUAL thrashing and using them within a bigger picture to try and make a mockery of valid points.

You say its a massive leap, something that people are basically in universal agreement and understanding on. Believe you me, if we had lost 4-1 to Rochdale or Fleetwood then criticism would have been twice as strong.

You say cut a bit of slack, but people are commenting about ONE GAME in the appropriate match thread. Please highlight quotes whereby people are suggesting that they think we will struggle throughout the entire season, that there are questions about Mowbrays future, or anything that demonstrates anything other than criticism over an individual performance and result.

It might happen on occasion, but if it does, it will warrant criticism. Just as if we do it to someone else, we will get praise.

I already said that that any team can hammer any team in this league..as witnessed ..in ONE game  .,,,new kids on the block ..cut a bit of slack but by all means dissect a game .Hence what i say about any team can get a good hiding in his league. Where have i said anyone has said we ll struggle season  long ? i said its a massive leap and such results will occur over a season not just for us but for many teams in this league .

And where fans of every team that hammers another team convincingly will eulogise their team in praise, whereas teams that are hammered in abject fashion will be criticised by their fans.

Of course ..its just the shock that some on here thinking it wont happen ..and when it does those not taking a deep breath and cutting a bit of slack to what league we re in before becoming ..Enraged from Ewood .

    Massive leap this season .

Dack has let his team mates down today. Needs to be fully focussed on getting back into the side.

If Mowbray continues his team-is-everything ethic Dack will start on the bench when he is eventually fit.

Sorry Stuart completely  OTT..infact a ridiculous  comment ..what next ..send all injured players back to their parents with a 8pm curfew ???

If Dack was out night before a game  TM would rip his head the day after ..

Ok so you said we don't have enough soldiers for our soldiers:artists balance. You then named 12 players and listed 3 as definite soldiers, 3 soldiers in spirit, 2 sometimes soldiers, 1 soldier in the making, and 1 you admit you have no idea yet. There were only 2 players out of 12 you mentioned then described as having no soldier in them at all. One of those was the goalie, who simply doesn't count.

Not sure what your concern is? Seems enough rough and tumble to me. And teams have hated playing against us as we harry them all game (except first half Millwall).

Well said ..what we re crying out for now is new additions with creativity ..

I don't think we have enough soldiers.

    Raya -  Only a lad

Nyambe - Ditto, but could become one in the fullness of time.

    Lenihan - Definitely a soldier.

Mulgrew - Soldier in spirit but if the body keeps telling you that you aren't it's hard to argue.

Bell - Too early to say.

    Bennett - Yep, he 's a soldier.

Smallwood - He's been a soldier but currently on leave.

Evans -  Could be one if he got his mad up, doesn't do it often though.

Palmer - Mm he looks to be a lover not a fighter to me.

Armstrong - Not a soldier physically but could be one in terms of effort.

Dack - I think he likes a scrap so I'll say yes there.

Graham - Same as Charlie Boy, he likes the physical side but his body keeps telling him to behave.

One of the reasons we got relegated was we were too easily pushed around. We're better in that respect now but I'd like to see another couple of  guys who like the physical side of the game brought in.

Watching the young guy we'll all talking about , he's a bit willowy yet and he doesn't knock people about but he's not frightened of a meaty challenge and he does use his size quite well.

Yet put them together as a unit they  get promoted from a League renowned for physicality

We ve enough soldiers or as i would rather put it ..lads playing for the shirt ..
