Bristol City started 2-0, with consecutive 3-1 thumpings, but are 3-4-7 overall since Pearson took over.

Since we’re talking about backs, how does Ayala fit in next season? I think it would help if he showed he cared a little bit about being at Rovers.

I don’t have any druthers on who I’d prefer to see go down to League 1. When we were in League 1, I wrote 4 or 5 articles about Blackburn Rovers on the D1D2 website. The guy who runs it was very enthusiastic about my articles, complimentary towards Rovers, etc.

We’ve lost EIGHT 0-1 games this season. Six in 2021. Going back to what was said earlier, there is no scenario where I want Rovers to lose. Especially since we can all see now that a loss has nothing to do with TM exit.

I agree with this, and this is why no one can say the players aren’t motivated to win, the manager doesn’t care/ isn’t motivated, etc. Even though nothing was at stake, Rovers played well, for the most part, vs a poor side. But I understand that doesn’t mean they will vs Rotherham. -

I love the win, but I’m not really sure what the “take home” is from it. Because, we lost to owl and Wycombe, we could easily do the same vs Rotherham. Still, it’s gratifying to know we’re safe this season, but the anxiety remains, if TM remains. -

We are going to be a man down, if we don’t watch out m. that would be about right, this team goes 2-0, then gets a man sent off. -

It’s embarrassing to say this, but I would be relieved with a point; ecstatic bordering on euphoric if we actually claimed all 3 pts from that football juggernaut, Huddersfield Town. Then again, I might just forget about the game entirely. Yawn... back to New Tricks on Amazon. -

TM: “I don’t want to be critical of them, they’re a great set of lads...” Ok, then don’t. Be at least a little critical of yourself, and your staff. -

This is all so much failure. We have a crap product, rendered so by TM’s madcap leadership. The players deserve better, maybe that’s why it appears there is some dissatisfaction today. Wycombe, now Wednesday, I’m too sick at heart to think about this anymore. -

I’d like to see players play today who are signed & we are counting on next season. One exception to this, play Elliott the rest of the season. He seems to have enjoyed his experience at Rovers (read: he’s received playing time to his satisfaction), and he makes things happen. I favor Lenihan, if he’s fit. -

Agreed, on this one not being easy. I still love wins. Mowbray is no master motivator, but he needs to light a fire under the lads. Also, play Elliott & Arma on wings, Gallagher in the middle. -
Rovers v Derby - 6pm, Friday 16th
WacoRover replied to Stuart's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Exactly! This is what I’m talking about! The fans still love the club. I’m a lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan, but I still remember when the Packers played some games every year at Milwaukee County stadium...Lambeau stadium wasn’t that big at the time, and the board didn’t believe there were enough fans to sustain a club in Green Bay forever! LoL -

This is what it means to be a fan, a die-hard, sticking to the club & loving the shirt no matter what goes on from within, or without. I’m an American, so everything from my point of view is different than many of you. I’m no Chicago Cubs fan, but I admire a fan base that can not only stand by their club, but pack the park for 100 years between championships. That is love for the club. Rovers have a smaller fan base than the bigger English clubs, but there is a core of fans who are loyal & will be totally “all in” at whatever point new leadership- the right leadership- arrives. I chose to support Blackburn Rovers. I had no prior history with English football prior to 2012. Blackburn Rovers are the Green Bay Packers of the EFL- based in a small town, and surrounded by other, bigger clubs vying for a big piece of the pie, but Rovers have a history that makes it an attractive club. The Packers went a long time between NFL championships/Super Bowls, too! (from 1967 to 1996) -

Harv Elliott about the only sign of life on this team, and he goes back to Merseyside in 4 games. Even if Arma leaves, I believe we could score goals next season, with Gally up front, BB & Dolan on wings, a healthy Travis & JR-C, etc. IF the current manager leaves, and the right manager comes in. A big IF, there! -

It is obvious our manager and coaches have no clue what to do. The players appear disinterested, and ready for the season to end. Therefore... not because I don’t love the Rovers, or the good camaraderie here at BRFCS; but, until we get at least a point- at home- I see no use to post anymore. There is nothing left unsaid. Fans aren’t allowed at Ewood, and I live in Texas anyway, so my little protest will be my silence. COYB, & Mowbray out. Tony, please do the honorable thing, and step down. Give us our team back. Then, I will have some respect for you.
