  1. Harwood-Bellis immediate need; Pickering arrives for next year, when we are sure to lose a warm body or two. Mowbray isnt perfect as a tactician, but he’s doing what he can, bringing in player personnel. He’s been dealt crumbs, but he’s baking the cake. Let’s see if he can get it iced on May 8.
  2. Rovers are not a PL side... but could be, if we could hold onto players like Branthwaite & Elliott. We’ve managed to develop several of our own “homegrown” players; this summer Is crucial to re-sign a couple of our younger players, hopefully, have fewer injuries, & commit robbery or otherwise hold onto the two I mentioned.
  3. We should jeep getting points in February. The month of March has had me somewhat anxious all season- Reading, Millwall, Swans, Bees, etc. I’m not conceding anything, it’s just going to be a tough month to get points in bunches.
  4. I used to always wear a Rovers shirt on game day. But I did not for the entire month of January. Dallas Cowboys, University of Texas Longhorns, I even wore a Liverpool shirt today. I think I’m onto something good here. You’re welcome😂
  5. If we get there, you will have a lot of company. About everyone on the ‘board, anyway 😄
  6. 8th on the table, wasn’t sure we would ever make it. But key players returning from injury, & a good addition in Branthwaite, we could keep moving up!
  7. There’s so many guys out of contract this summer; there will be a big turnover. Many of those who started while in League 1 (Benno, Evans, Bell, etc) wont be around next season.
  8. As a newer fan, I’ve got the big stuff, so I enjoy the minutiae moments like these very much. Thanks again. So far, my only game to attend was last years Reading/Rovers game, which we won, 2-1, on goals by Dack & Armstrong. So, all my in-person Rovers memories are happy ones.
  9. Great memories! I’m glad you shared, I enjoy reading about great games like this!
  10. We need to continue our current good form, and keep moving up the table. Guys are getting healthy, and Dacky & Travis are getting their legs back. We’ve got to get a convincing win at Ewood, sooner or later, I pray this weekend is it. theROVERSreturn, Has there ever been a better time to be a Rover? 😁 (Rovers fan since 2013, you have me, you actually have those halcyon days of Rovers in the Premier!)
  11. Going back to the season... Rovers need to win the next two, and hope everybody ahead of us on the table goes nowhere, for us to move into a playoff place. Honestly, we could win our next three; we’ve won 7 of our last 9 possible points, I could easily see us winning 7 of the next 9. Heady days, indeed, for our Rovers. COYB!
  12. Glad we got all 3 today, and hoping our recent run of results have boosted the squads morale. We have a winnable game vs Luton at Ewood on Saturday. The defending looked better today, I’d say iron out the midfield Saturday & Rovers could put up 3 again.
  13. Tony the mad scientist. I don’t understand it but I accept it
  14. Are we gonna have a shot on target today, doubtful bB & Dacky coming on
  15. My usual optimism has deserted me. A point might be all we can hopefully desire today. I do not believe Boro still bummed about their loss to Brum, they are probably anticipating a fairly convincing performance today.
  16. If Rovers are going to start making their move climbing back in the playoff race, this is the time and the place. I am encouraged by Dack & Travis’ return, & Branthwaite is a needed addition to central defense. Yet to lose in 2021, let’s keep it going, COYB!
