  1. Coronavirus is not going to be the reason at Rovers. Incompetance. It's 25% or 4000 whichever is least. 4000 at Rovers. Two teams both in financial chaos, no accounts published and under transfer embargos. Unknown budget will be the reason.
  2. Hope nobody in this thread is actually planning on buying one... but I fear most are. Hence the problem.
  3. By the time Mowbray gets back from holiday there will be so many propoganda excuses being wheeled out via the LT. Fact is we went for it last season....except Mowbray didn't go for it. Now we are under a transfer ban. No money. No team. Relegation on the cards. So excited.
  4. Expecting it to be on a free streaming app. Bournmouth TV was on all last season.
  5. Just wait for the match prices. Cat C game £12 Cat B £14 Cat A £16
  6. oh come on... the blues bar is open Friday & Saturday....what more do you want ?
  7. 1. No new training ground. 2. No new Stitch pitch. 3. No fan re-engagement. Plan A - reopen Blues Bar. Plan B - No plan B 4. No new manager. 5. No owner communication until at least 2025 (maybe). 6. No fans consultation meetings. 7. No transfers until after June 30th (maybe). 8. No other business. 9. No hope.
  8. Thoroughly enjoyable game. Glad Chelsea won. Some really good performances including from James and Chilwell. Kante as always. City were poor. De Bruyne and Sterling didn't turn up. Pep must have called Mowbray for selection advice. Some really good young players in this Chelsea side. They will be challenging for the title next season.
  9. Brentford 2 up and by far the best side. Mowbray probably on holiday not even watching. Mowbray Out !
  10. Loss making ? That's because you are not a taxation expert in a global business empire where money moves around onshore, offshore and even in brown envelopes from Bradford Western Union. Makes perfect sense to Babu.
  11. This makes some sense if you are Waggott with potentially no income again. He doesn't know if there will be 4000 fans or no fans allowed in Ewood so this way he gets their money either way. He can tier the game charges depending on opposition. He suspects many stay aways will watch thereby increasing "gates" by stealth. He can sell advert space. There will no doubt be additional piracy measures in place. Most people are streaming ifollow for free. Costs will be kept to a bare minimum using mostly technology instead of people. Otherwise why bother. They stopped Radio Rovers due the costs (no income). This is all about the income and zero to do with fans.
  12. I see the new advice for Blackburn is to not leave town and to only meet outdoors. Heading towards special measures again. Waggott's ST plans will be shot to shit before the 2500 even hear what they were.
  13. Was talking to a bloke the other week sat outside the Napier. He was one of the 2500 and had been going every season since 63. When I asked why he had bought a ST, he freely admitted that he had fully expected to be back in the ground by October. He went on to say that he was not going to buy one this season due to Mowbray and Waggott.
  14. Why does anyone care? Nobody should be buying them. Last season he said he couldn't sell something when he didn't know what he could sell. So he will have the same mindset now. Especially with this Bolton variant being rife. He will certainly wait until after 21st June before anything comes out. As it stands today he can only offer 4000 for sale with a socially distanced seating plan. No away fans or walk ons etc.
  15. As our season finished at Xmas due to our shite manager.... I am watching the play offs (where we will never be under Mowbray) and hoping Barnsley can win.
  16. Q: Any update on the transfer embargo? A: The transfer window doesn’t open until July 1, and Rovers have until the end of next month to get their accounts in. If they’re FFP compliant, then there won’t be anything to worry about, but still waiting for the accounts to land. So it’s a wait and see on that one, at the moment. i.e at this moment in time we are still under the registration ban widely reported last month along with 7 other clubs.
  17. OldEwoodBlue feels the quality of manager and results go hand in hand.
  18. And it should be advice not advise. Not to mention Rovers needs a capital R. 😂
  19. Both great midfield players who have played at the top level and will have respect of young players. Stevie G taken the easy option (?) up at Rangers but has no real option but to go to a big PL club and win trophys as his next job. Liverpool I suppose. Frank did OK at Chelsea. Didn't he build the team that are now in the Champions League and FA Cup finals ? They just brought in Tuchel who has added that top level experience which FL didn't have yet. Both will be top managers I suspect. Be interesting watching their careers develop and no doubt cross swords many times in the future. I would welcome either over Mowbray.
  20. So exactly how has this letter been transmitted to Madame? A post box ? A fax ? 🤣 An email ? or via this message board ? Can't imagine a read receipt. Can't imagine the Trust posting the open response letter on here.
  21. Oh to see Waggott's face when he gets told Blackburn are going into Tier 3 restrictions.
  22. Yes we ARE. https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2021/april/transfer-embargo---club-update/#:~:text=Following reports in the national, deadline of March 1st 2021. along with the club’s Profit & Sustainability submissions for the current year, for which we have until June 30th to meet our financial projections. Meaning we have until June 30th to bring in the projected income (Arma) to get out of the embargo.
