  1. There was never ever going to be a stitch pitch. Hopefully not one single person ever believed it. Sharpe needs to ask about it and publish their excuses. I'm going for "on hold" until we understand the covid rules and the ST sales forecast. (guilt trip fans routine). No new pitch. Transfer Embargo. Mowbray staying. Boohoo.com new kits. Regressive journey. FOV
  2. This does not mean back to normal life after June. It means that everything should be open (stadiums, theatres, clubs, etc) WITH covid mitigation measures in place to allow them to open. This is what the present trials are all about. To formulate policy on what the measures will be. Covid passports are discrimatory so it is likely to be testing before each match. Customer has to pay for test (as per foreign travel). From the club's point of view this will all need to be managed around ticket sales and safe entry to their site. I don't see away games being an option straight away unless travel, ticket & testing are managed by the official club travel. Then I don't see how packed coaches are going to be a good plan. So I think away matches and home walk ons will be out and entry will be ST only. 4000 limit.
  3. Wont get as much as we think for Arma imo. 40% to Newcastle. sell on clause. Or won't he go for free next summer. And how many clubs will have too much cash to splash after 1.5 seasons behind closed doors. It seems we are looking for £12 million to cover FFP but not sure it is realistic to sell for £30 million. If we don't unload him before June the submitted "projections" were wrong and we are full tilt transfer embargo. https://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/newcastle-united-adam-armstrong-clause-19795691
  4. Arma played really well. First time in months, probably this year. Brereton played really well. Great work rate. Both lively today like early in the season... although the opposition was really really poor. That Harwood Bellis lad is going to have a good career. He is far better than Tosin. Class player. Evans quietly and effectively ran midfield today. Good display.
  5. Tip of the day. Don't listen to Tony's post match interview...it is likely to be an unfathomable alternate reality.
  6. Well these are the worst side in the league. Keeper looks like hes been trained by Ben Benson.
  7. Town are really really shite. Good work from Arma there. The none greedy version. Gally hits target shocker
  8. Tony Mowbray Out ! For some reason it seems he is 100% staying until summer, meaning the last 3 games are totally pointless Oh well...
  9. Why do people care so much? Over to the late Sir Bobby Robson... “What is a club in any case? Not the buildings or the directors or the people who are paid to represent it. It’s not the television contracts, get-out clauses, marketing departments or executive boxes. It’s the noise, the passion, the feeling of belonging, the pride in your city. It’s a small boy clambering up stadium steps for the very first time, gripping his father’s hand, gawping at that hallowed stretch of turf beneath him and, without being able to do a thing about it, falling in love.” 😥 Venkys Out.
  10. 4 teams below us within 3 points all with a game in hand. Progress.
  11. Wed commentators can't believe it saying what is Mowbray doing just took off the 4 best players 😀
