  1. Looking at this a bit more the cynic in me sees this is really just to ensure there are 10K fans allowed in Wembley for the Euro games we are hosting. Wimbledon, Grand Prix, etc.
  2. only in your mind...not in the rules. link added above. we are 31K so not large which starts at 40K.
  3. The rule is a 4000 limit but for grounds capacity below 4000 its 25%. The 10K for grounds over 40K is on the BBC news website not on the footy site. Its for Spurs, West Ham, Wembley etc. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/explainers-52530518
  4. Are you reading properly ? 4000 or 25% whichever is lower. 4000 is lower than 7750
  5. Nobody is going this season. Restriction lifts after the season finishes. I was talking about next season.
  6. Making a Murderer was a good watch. Just seen Deutchland 89 being advertised. Looks like it could be a good one to watch next ?
  7. I imagine there will be more than 4000 wanting a ST. Widely reported that proof of vaccination and testing are likely to be conditions of entry for concerts and sports events. If testing is necessary before each game. 4000 x 15 min lateral flow tests is 1000 hours so wont be happening at the turnstile. Waggott will love it. Not a single pie wasted.
  8. It is 4000 not 8000. Performances and large events will be subject to limits though. For indoor events they can be at half capacity or 1,000 people, and outdoors they can be at half capacity or 4,000 people - whichever is lower. For large venues (at least 40,000 capacity) up to 10,000 will be allowed to attend. There wont be any walk on option as it is amost certainly going to need proof of vaccination and testing. Waggott won't be able to manage that on a match day if he already taxes walk ons due to unexpected pie demand. 4000 will be more than enough to cover demand anyway.
  9. Nah Matt. 25000 down to 8500. The others stopped being arsed due to the ownership however you look at it. Now its only 2500 due to the current incumbents. The positive facebook bubble is a tiny minority and not reflection of the majority of Rovers fans. Example I have never used facebook. Neither has my 84 yo Dad. Both ex ST holders. Plus another 24,948 others. This forum are the minority indeed but only from the masses who mainly long since cant be arsed.
  10. vast swathes of 2500 Pete. probably no more than 50 in reality. just stay off there in the knowledge they are deluded and wrong. 25000 reduced to 2500 and 50 of. I make that 24,950 vs 50.
  11. I am expecting to see a follow up showing the plans in tomorrow's telegraph.
  12. Venkys as proper owners respecting Jack's legacy.... Steve, get thet Riverside rebuilt. You have 12 months. Steve, why is it a tip around the ground ? Sort it out ASAP and get some regular meetings setup with the neighbours to ensure we are one with the community. Steve, we want final plans for the hotel and local community center in 60 days. Think big. We are the biggest town club in England and tjat is what you should remember every day. Steve, where is the proforma for the new pitch ? We need to get essential work booked in so it looks great for the new season. Steve, did you get us the short list of managers who will get us to the PL next season ? Steve, have you any feedback from fans on the plans for the new state of the art training centre? We need to engage. We want feedback. Steve, we will be there on Monday around 10:30 for a full update. Steve,....
  13. Last night before the Sheff Utd game (about Sheff Utd), Souness said.... "conceding goals and not scoring goals is form which gets you relegated"
  14. You have to wonder who hastily wrote or signed off the statement in reaction to the cat being out the bag. Where is Suhail ? Hasn't he been in India since the virus came along and still there ? Waggott complete silence. Usually he lives in Mellor but I'm sure he is at home in Kent since the end of last year. Mowbray was in Nottingham for sure. Rovers the rudderless ship getting closer to the rocks.
  15. I started watching the serpent but couldn"t get into it. Enjoyed the night stalker and hotel cecil. Right now I'm binge watching "Fauda". Just started series 2 of 3. Based in Israel / West Bank. subtitled if you don't mind that.
  16. I don't think the Walker Trust is defunct ? Isn't it still managing his affairs... Just because some businesses were sold such as Rovers and Flybe. https://opencorporates.com/companies/je/EXTUID_7286
  17. Tony watching a different game than everyone else. We have had delusional managers in the past....
  18. good result for Tony today... Nyambe torn hamstring so Benno can play.
  19. I can't believe that clown Dalglish never thought of playing Newell out wide on the right.
  20. I would always play Downing at full back over Bell. Otherwise a good team on paper but in reality he wont keep things simple and it will be shit. For me this team works as 4-4-2 Gally & Arma up top Elliott right, Breo left. Maybe thats just me... It wont be that simple though.
