  1. i don`t think elliot is really gelling under mowbrays prehistoric tactics,i see a david bentley type, great given a bit of freedom but not one to be tied down in a rigid system
  2. pne backline is slow and slower, cmon rovers, get straight into them and get em on the back foot, bit of pressure and they`ll crumble
  3. difficult to try and emulate pele and rivelino on a pitch you`ve ****** up by training on it you ******* imbecile
  4. all this muscle pulling astro turf charade is a load of horse****,did oldham, luton, qpr and preston all come down with muscle strains when they played competetive 1st team football on artificial pitches??,you should`nt be flogging players in training anyway at this stage of the season, they should be just keeping up their fitness levels with a lot of 2 games a week just round the corner
  5. as far as i know the indoor pitches were fine for every other rovers manager, what exactly has mowbray got them doing in training that could possibly cause muscle damage??,id`e rather play on astroturf than turn my ankle on the bog of a pitch ewood has become
  6. walton in goal for brighton😄thats a few easy goals for leicester then
  7. i can smell the 0-0 and it`s only wednesday,rovers to have 90% posession and still draw🙄
  8. he`d be pretty daft to come back here imo, tony does`nt like him as a footballer, thats clear
  9. harry chapman scores again for shrewsbury, that boy is going places😁
  10. i find it disgusting that any manager who puts a weak side out (if unnecessary) is denying the fans a potential trip to wembley and a major trophy,i hope our scuzzy neighbours get relegated now and that shed like cricket field stand gets condemned
  11. dyche far to arrogant looking at the dingle side,he`s got to be under pressure now with the new owner, looking a dishevelled set up at the moment😅
  12. my mate used to be on chorleys books when noel brotherston had a brief few months there at the end of his career,he said even with dodgy knees and no pace left was still a class above everyone in the club, everyone in the division (the northern premier i think at the time)tried to give him the rough treatment and in the end he got fed up with it ,he was only there for a few games, bit off topic but my mate ended up playing semi pro for salford in the middle 90`s,he also came up against mel sterland, the ex leeds and sheffield wed full back,he said it was frightening how good he was, even in his late 30`s
  13. i`ve heard there has been a bit of dressing room unrest over mowbrays tactics and approach to games, kicked off at full time on saturday (not the 1st time either by all accounts)everyone was involved, barring the young lads on loan, tony was shocked by all the vitriol and has retreated to his beloved north east to reconsider his future, worst of all the remains of the lemon drizzle cake was thrown against the wall by a player who shall remain anon, mrs m`s bone china cake stand was also a casualty and she is far from happy could this be the end of mowbrays regime???,it`s clear he`s running out of time and i think he`s run out of player respect as well, once you lose the dressing room it`s basically all over, you never get it back
  14. does`nt move enough for me,spends most of his time in the centre circle, though i`ve suspected from the start he`s got knee problems etc, he looked a really good player when he was at spurs,id`e put this one down to one that did`nt really come off
  15. i like mowbray as a person,im`e sure he`s an honest, decent fellow,as a manager though i think he`s a poor coach, poor tactician and a bad man manager, you could get away with it in a lower league but the higher up you go the more your weaknesses will find you out
  16. he did`nt really play to their weakness did he,if he had, then he`d have played two genuine wide players to get behind their admittedly slow defence,in the end we ended up with everything being played in front, which is easy to defend against,he`s becoming kean like in his post match interviews,im`e really struggling to hold on to my respect for him,it`s an easy fix to make rovers into a decent side, put the players in their right positions and stop messing around with tactics that you can`t make work
  17. im`e off for a chinese then going to quaff the rest of the holsten pils thats residing in the fridge, this wine stuff is for fannies😄
  18. another season of this and we`ll be drinking meths on a bench somewhere!!!!!!!!!
  19. you need carlsberg special brew to soothe the senses after watching us
  20. thats mowbrays problem,he comes up a formation that no one understands, because he has`nt got the coaching ability to get it through to his players, when we start to struggle he panics and just makes wholesale changes in desperation,if he just stuck to a basic rigid formation im`e sure we would`nt look so clueless, either that or **** off (the latter hopefully soon)
  21. looking briefly at harwood bellis,he`s no more a full back than buckley or jrc, however i think tony will play him there, you just knew he was itching to get nyambe off
  22. another limited but determined side gets one over on us,ffs,i`ll be in the ground before rovers get in the play offs at this rate
