  1. said it dozens of times this season, far to many players on the books just content to pick up their wages, clubs needs a thorough deep cleaning playing staff wise
  2. the sign of bad player or one playing above his level
  3. tony to the lads before the game "look lads we`ve been here before, lets make sure we don`t get anywhere near the top six,it`s scary up there,so take it easy and we can all have new contract soon,as for you dominic, keep it up,you`re f*****g useless and thats what we need"
  4. tony`s wife likes him,he walks the mowbray dog and washes tony`s car,he certainly is`nt in the side for footballing reasons
  5. if the millwall boss has any nous he`d put mahony up against bennett,a penalty or sending off is inevitable
  6. tony is undoubtedly a nice fellow but im`e struggling to respect his management, this will be a bore draw of unepic proportions
  7. id`e have a go at trying to pinch declan rudd from preston,he`s a steady keeper, rarely makes mistakes and pne are perenially skint, they always flog a few players every season
  8. Although I’m nowhere near as bad as I once was (I swore after Selhurst Park 1989 I would never let football affect me that badly again!) I am still a grumpy old sod for a couple of hours after a defeat. Bloody football, eh? as iv`e got older the defeats hurt less, though i was absolutely fuming when pne beat us this season, after the palace debacle no defeat could ever be worse,if we got relegated 4 years in a row,it still would`nt come close to how i felt that day,it kind of expunged my emotion?☺️
  9. we all know footballers ar`nt the brightest of people so burdening them with numerous formations is a bit silly, get them to learn how to play at home and away, keep it simple and let the opposition worry about us not us worry about them, from the great liverpool and forest sides of the 70`s and 80`s to fergies utd domination, they played the same way every week no matter who the opposition was
  10. maybe your right, the ultimate answer is to get rid of the deadwood and get in better quality players, though with our owners and tony`s grasp of the transfer market im`e not geting excited
  11. makes you wonder what goes on the training ground and the coaches when you put up two lame performances against two basket case teams but turn in effort laden shows against the better sides
  12. thats what you need to do with a tricky opposition player, get it up em,they don`t like it up em
  13. samuel is one of the dozen you need to offload in order to get someone better,it`s not quantom physics to realise that better players will reap better results
  14. this match pretty much sums up where we are as a club,to good to go down but nowhere near good enough to go any higher, just hope travis, lenihan and dack go unoticed this summer, without those 3 we really are in trouble and i don`t trust mowbray to sign adequate replacements
  15. i think the kindest thing you can say about samuel is that he tries hard
  16. someone stole tonys bingo machine or am i in a parallel universe
  17. expect to see bennett back today at the expense of the injured jrc?other than that there should`nt be any changes,i hope!!
  18. the bolton away game is up there in the top ten favourite matches, fantastic away support, freezing cold night and playing the notlobs off the park, best jansen goal as well?
  19. lol,not nice enough for tony, got a bit of a nasty streak to him, you`ve got to be purer than the driven snow to get in our 1st team
