  1. leeds are bigger and stronger,we just can`t compete or don`t want to
  2. i don`t think anyone else understands it either, could`nt hack it at southend or rochdale then comes back and gets an extension?flucking crazy imo
  3. this is just the kind of fixture where we do really well, therefore giving us all hope,we`ll most likely get something today and vs west brom, then lose against luton, reading and millwall
  4. he`s still better than armstrong football brain wise, who stands still to much for my liking, considering he`s so mobile,he should be pulling defenders all over the place,as for the other two, where do i start??
  5. even with advanced age graham is still miles ahead of any striker on our books
  6. third biggest club in england??you`re not even a big as sheffield wednesday u muppet
  7. zurab was class,he`d stand out a mile from the current lot we`ve got,so much that he`d attract attention from promotion chasing clubs and we would`nt be able to hold on to him,he might have a few problems tuning in to the mowbray ethos though, not sure he`d appreciate being played out of position at left back?
  8. word from my mole at brockhall is that mowbray will definately call it a day after the final game,in his words "i cant get anything out of most of them,i tell them what to do on the training pitch and they do the opposite on match day",mrs m has also stopped making the famed lemon drizzle cake,as tony won`t agree to have an extension on their house,he`s been cutting a disillusioned figure in the last fortnight
  9. im`e probably in the minority who thought lambert was ok,imo he only quit because he thought he`d walk into the then available celtic job,im`e if he had stayed we would`nt be burdened with deadwood like bennett, bell etc
  10. according to my source, who i was talking to earlier, mowbray is a bit depressed and feels he`s had enough,he just wants to get back to the north east, apparently he was on about missing walking his greyhound on a misty morning, taking in the crisp air while relaxing on saturday afternoon in front of the telly,it`s only the fact that mrs mowbray wants an extension and a new conservatory that he`s carrying on for the time being
  11. bound to be goals,we usually play well twice a month, leeds attack and we can`t defend, goals a plenty!!!!!!!!!
  12. tell thee,we`ll win this one, put your cash on over 2 or 2.5 goals
  13. honestly think we`ll beat leeds, west brom and draw with cardiff, then lose the last three games of the season!!!!!be typical of us?
  14. mowbray would have said to douglas "you`re to flighty and play to far up the pitch, forget all that attacking stuff, similarly to clayton "sorry ronnie, you`re not developed enough to play in the first team, and you don`t listen to me enough"
  15. coyle did the simple thing, played gallagher as proper c/f and got crosses and service to him, nothing complicated, don`t want to praise him but it`s an illustration on why you should put players in their proper positions and make them aware of their jobs
  16. no way on gods green earth that mowbray is getting sacked,he could take us down to the conference and he`d still be here, the only way possible that he`s leaving is either he decides he`s had enough or mrs mowbray wants him to stay at home more
  17. some of the performances iv`e seen over the last two seasons would`nt be tolerated by saxton,he was loyal but did`nt suffer fools one bit
  18. nothing,i love a good shout, this season iv`e had plenty of targets for my ire,i`ll gladly get behind the likes of bennett and walton, preferably if they are standing on the edge of a quarry
  19. someone who sits there week after week continually praising the team and manager no matter how catastrophic it gets or is going, the kind of fans who insists players like bennett are excellent and any criticism is frowned upon greatly
  20. iv`e never figured out where his rightful position is tbh,on the whole i don`t think he fits in anywhere, not quick enough brain wise to play in midfield and when out wide continually comes back inside to pass square, the only use for him imo,is in away games where you sit a bit deeper and you could utilise him on the counter if you keep him up the pitch and play a long ball over the top, undoubedly he`s on the quick side of rapid, other than that,i really don`t see any use for him,of course he might be better if unburdened with mowbray orders, but that could apply to all the side
  21. we should prepare ourselves to swim in a pne like existance of bouncing between the middle leagues for the forseable future?
  22. thats the big problem wacorovers, chairman and manager are best of mates, the owners don`t have a scooby do,the only way mowbray is leaving is if he decides to retire or resign(unlikely,as he`ll miss his severance cheque)
  23. said it many times, three quarters of the current playing staff are quite content to pick up their wages without any pride in their performance or effort, travis, dack, nyambe, lenihan are maybe the exeption, gallagher and brereton may care but they ar`nt very good, the rest of them are just picking up their wages,it needs a hungry manager who is prepared to ship them out
