not particularly singling walton out,i just don`t think he`s any good, then again neither are bennett(makes a cock up every game)williams(terribly weak )nyambe(always out of position)bell(out of his depth at this level),any decent manager would have shipped them all out by now, mowbray can` t have any complaints about not being backed financially,he`s spent a lot of money in the wrong positions and it`s coming home to roost
-
so you dispute the fact that walton is`nt very good??
-
i expect a dull affair for 60 minutes,we score then concede within 5 minutes, the game peters out and ends in a draw, mowbray states his satisfaction and praises the lads, saying "wednesday are a top side with more experience than us" bennet replaces nyambe but is responsible for the wednesday goal, rothwell does`nt start,he`s got a mysterious knock, holtby is still apparently injured meaning evans starts, travis on bench??smallwood on bench comes on and gets booked, harry chapman also makes a fleeting appearance as he`s looking after mowbrays mercedes

no doubt mowbray is a decent fellow, thats the problem, can you imagine souness, hughes, big sam, kenny, saxton, mackay etc putting up with a defence that can`t literally defend, they`de all be on their way to the reserves or the transfer list,on saturday the donkey stockley would`nt have got a look in against a proper centre back -
i don`t think north end will be anywhere near the play offs, they just outbattled a side that is as weak as a pint of fosters shandy
-
only managers who have made us look defensively sound in the last 10 years are lambert(f****d off in hope of landing celtic job)eric black(only in charge for a few weeks) and bowyer(negative but otherwise sound),this is venky`s though,if the axe falls on mowbray we could end up with anybody, just a matter of the first agent ringing them up and giving his client plaudits
-
plenty of digruntled voices though more of a resigned admittance that this is what we always do,you can sense the discontent is brewing though,1 more defeat at home and the crowd will erupt in vitriol
-
i think mowbrays abject aura of despondance was due to the fact he can`t do anything more with his squad so he`s just waiting for the sack and pay off, love to know what was said at half time, the 2nd half resembled a match during the keane era,no idea,no effort,no fortitude
-
one things is 1000000% certain tommorow, bennett will start?
-
^^^^^^^ i don`t think mowbray is ready for calderstones,he`s just run out of ideas and now reached the end,a half decent board/chairman would be realising this and be getting ready to pull the trigger, knowing this catastrophic lot they`ll keep him until relegation is staring us in the face, probably won`t happen this season but going into the next without potting him is asking for it
-
anyone with any creativity or pace who`s not manacled to mowbrays negative mindset might as well hand in a transfer request ,because you are never going to get picked,he would`nt start rothwell or chapman even if the squad was decimated by a deadly illness
-
i don`t see any difference this season than last,we are far to easy to play against, negative in our approach and to soft mentally,as a squad we ar`nt fit enough either, after an hour last week the whole squad dropped a level and were blowing like steam trains
-
we most likely will not go down, but we certainly ar`nt going to get anywhere near the top six, time for a manager with new ideas and one who actually picks his best players in a system that sets out to score goals, let the opposition worry about us,mowbray is terrified of attacking football
