  1. Morrissey - We Hate It When Our Friends Become Successful
  2. I am angry at the whole league. That's the point. I find it sad that some people have total cult like devotion that they can't respect the decision of other fans who choose not to financially support the people who have totally wrecked the club they support.
  3. If the goal isn't to get back into the top division then what is the point?
  4. It's great to see the team all celebrating as one when they score. Van Hecke went mental when he scored and ran over to celebrate with the fans. That's what it is all about for me. I think the way we are playing at the moment is great. We should be eying up an automatic promotion spot instead of pissing around with the playoffs. I've had enough health problems of recent, I don't need a heart attack to go with it. Especially with being on the other side of the world it's very hard to follow the games.
  5. A few good results in the second division will not bring back the thousands of fans that walked away in total disgust. The only thing that would possibly tempt them back is: 1. Venkys sell up, piss off and never be seen again. (pretty obvious really) 2. We are sitting fourth in the league a bit closer to the end of the season. That's the Premier League by the way. Also the disgraceful state of Ewood is sorted out, the training ground is back on the books as an asset of BRFC and the club is being run well by people of the John Williams, Tom Finn calibre and all the great things they used to do for the fans are back in place (cheap tickets, free coach travel to big away days like the League Cup semi against Wednesday etc..) I think a lot of the people who are giving shit to the people boycotting must be young and missed out on all of that.
  6. From the meagre highlights I have seen of the last two games it looks like Pears has played well. He made a few important saves and most importantly of all the is a big fat zero next to the opposition name on the scoreboard.
  7. Selling Diaz half way through the season will show how little ambition the owners have. Unless of course the ambition is to line the pockets of agents and the like. After all, it wouldn't be the first time they have done that.
  8. Why care about fans in the grounds when there are a lot of casual spectators in foreign lands watching on the telly.
  9. It's on the pitch on match day where it counts. That is the only thing players can be judged on.
  10. If you believe that you'll believe anything. Stop making excuses.
  11. So we're still 4th but right now 2nd place is within our grasp. Forget the playoffs, that should be the objective.
  12. I agree with the proposals 100%. I'm on the other side of the world. What can I do?
  13. The clean sheets are what makes me more confident in the team than anything. It's one thing to score goals but if you start every game 1 - 0 down before kickoff then you're going to be struggling. It seems like after the Fulham game words were said and they have tightened up at the back. Hopefully now we can be two up after the first half and not completely blow it.
  14. They've had 11 years to invest. The only thing I can see them doing is stripping as much money out of the club as they can if we go up.
  15. A penny more than £20 for any second division game is outrageous. Charging any more than that shows nothing other than a total disregard and lack of respect for the fans.
  16. It's great seeing yet another clean sheet. That is probably one of the biggest positives of all I think.
  17. At the end of the day the club is so badly run that any slight issue is now put under a microscope. Rightfully so. Just stop and think for a moment, we are heading into a game against Bournemouth and people are talking about how much of a massive game it is. Well, it is a massive game. I think this situation is unacceptable. A massive game should be Manchester United or Chelsea not fucking Bournemouth. We are where we are because of the owners. Don't forget that. It is important that for every single thing they do to further wreck this club they are held to account.
  18. To be fair he was caught red handed a number of times doing dodgy shit. And his teams never played the most flamboyant style of football.
  19. I wonder how he'll end up as the victim this time...
