Everyone takes responsibility, but no-one is to blame.

For the love of god, can we all just move on please!

Gregg's amazing, not many DoF's could have brought in a loan player from Huddersfield. And so what if that's the first time the club have failed to do a deal because someone didn't send the right forms off. It's just coincidence it happened on Gregg's watch, it could have happened anytime in the last 148 years.

    Nothing to see here.

When did Greggs wife join the forum

  2. This is a major mistake and is unforgivable, the statement from the club is similar to what this government do to deflect everything from themselves.

I really feel for the two players sat in limbo here, best thing us fans can do is give the current players our full support but show the board and owners how we feel through sarcastic chants at games. Shambles

  3. I watched this one from home tonight, my 5 yr old in the 1st half said “this ref is actually doing ok tonight Dad”

2nd half after the sending off he said “I take back what I said before Dad this guy is like the rest of them, he doesn’t know what he is doing” He is 5!

As I’ve mentioned I watched it on TV but were there boos when Dack was taken off?

    Frustrating night again!

  4. On Hirst he did well at Pompey and their fans liked him, personally I’m not sure he is cut out for this standard but it’s harsh because he is feeding from scraps and very little scraps at that. To play as a CF and not have a single chance or half chance in both the Forest and Sunderland game is worrying but that’s not down to the player it’s the system/set up

  5. JDT got it all wrong today, he used to be a striker, so how can we go to Burnley (not the only away games like this I know) and have just 1 real shot at goal is beyond me. You can lose a game 3-0 and still have a go, lose 3-0 like that today is so hard to take.
Diaz and Gallagher were playing way too far apart, we should have played them closer and hit longer balls into them and worked off them. Not the JDT style but we would have got more success than that shower

  6. I remember a lot of people were laughing at Swansea for the way they play out at the back when we beat them, we are turning into that laughing stock. Watching that night was so painful and we could all see the issues but we continued to make the same mistakes.

Fine play out from the back when you have the players that are comfortable and confident to do so. Where has our energy and pressing gone? Travis looks knackered.

JDT needs to learn quickly and have a plan B and C

  7. Letting a young loan player take that pen in the last minute ahead of more experienced players is mind blowing. Dack, Gallagher, Brittain, Hedges and Pickering all should be stepping up before Hurst.
The lack of chances we are creating is a huge concern and Ayala is not the right player to be playing this keep ball and playing out from the back, get the basics right and then play football in the midfield and forward areas

Ultimately it doesn’t matter who we have as DoF, manager and assistant if they’re given no funds to spend. The squad has a decent nucleus but with a shortened break this year I can see injuries being massive throughout the division next season and we can’t be found wanting. We have no RB with championship experience, 2 CB’s with it (one of whom could leave in Ayala), a left back who thinks he’s better in CM where he’s shite, and 2 actual CM’s, one of which played up front most of the year.

    On paper a 4231 of:

    Kaminski

    Brown Ayala Wharton Pickering

    Travis Buckley

    Markanday Dack Dolan

    Gallagher

Doesnt look too bad, however there’s a distinct lack of goals and little to nothing to follow them from the bench. If we go into the season with the squad as it is now, we’re in for a relegation scrap.

We need some signings big time and that work needs to start even without a coach in place imo and let the new guy bring in the ‘bits around the edges’ after we’ve addressed the gaping holes. We should’ve been all over free agents like Aden Flint (gone to stoke), Conor Hourihane, Gary Cahill, Romaine Sawyers, Kristian Pedersen, Jed Wallace etc.

If it is to be JDT, there’s a real chance he won’t be in charge for another 2/3 weeks with the delays in work permits. Kompany is still waiting for his at Burnley and that’s been the best part of 3 weeks and they find themselves in a similar boat, think i saw they released 14 players yesterday including Mee and Tarkowski? (What a shame 🤣)

Doesn’t look a bad side that, just missing our top scorer from the starting 11 😉
